| Quote: Diamond Harry "Herbert's short passing is good when it comes off, but most of the time there hospital passes and our players get crunched, he panic's with the ball in hand, he doesnt give the ball when he needs to and to be honest i'd rather give Koppy the kicking duties. I think it was 32-0 at one point and Herbert put a little grubber into the corner, with no players chasing the ball down the wing, why doesnt he ever put bombs up in the air, anything can happen, at least Sykes tried a couple, they might of gone backwards but he tried. I can't belive some people stick up for Herbert.'"
3 in assits charts. He's pretty good actually. Needs time to gel.
Not really, utter poop

| As I said elsewhere it's what I expected unfortunately. It seems there's a malaise amongst the Bulls camp that's been hanging around for the past 3 years and even a change in coach, 11 new players and a new training camp hasn't helped results. Sounds like a deeper problem. It's obvious some players are just going through the motions, today was like Salford and Hudders away. No direction, no go forward and the side looked like they'd rather be anywhere than on the field playing for the Bulls.
It's a good job we had a the £60 ticket deal or a lot more would be voting with their feet this year, and more performances like that they still will.

| Quote: AaronBull "First things first, I'm never one to blame particular players for a general performance, to a man we were embarassing, shameful, there are not enough superlatives to describe todays fiasco. Warrington must have scored 5 or 6 tries where at the start of the play we had possession. The lack of cutting edge with kicks being charged down was quite frankly laughable.
Ainscough, Elima and Sykes all apparently injured. The most notable of those three is Sykes. I never, ever, want to see him play stand-off for the Bradford Bulls ever again. He was made to look useless today (whether he is or not is up for debate) by Warrington's halves, and Potter HAS to swallow his pride next week.
We have a winnable game next week in the cup against Halifax. Now is the time to play Briggs, and now is also the time to play Southernwood. Redeverready has said it, and I trust him, there is no issue with Southernwood's size. It is the perfect time to blood them both after today, and Herbert could play 13, as has been mooted. He certainly does the defensive work to compliment the role. We cannot continue like this, playing Sykes in the halves. Like I say, I aren't just blaming him for today but he was terrible.
I'm also at a loss as to why Donaldson didn't play tbh, but Potter knows more than me on that front.'"
My one and only post on this fiasco because I am livid about todays performance and will only work myself up!
Wire scored EIGHT TRIES when we started the set in possession of the ball (four from kicks, four from dropped ball which they then ran in) - that's 32 points excluding if Hodgson converted, which he did most.
It says something when Bulls fans actually CHEERED sykes' injury in the vain hope he would after go off!
CAN IT GET ANY WORSE?

| Total shambles today. Totally embarrassing. Men against boys. Nah, men against toddlers. Who seemed incapable of learning from their (many) mistakes.
Change of coach and change of personnel looks to have achieved...precisely nothing.
Plus ça change

| Yep I was actually more worried about Wire scoring when we got to the end of our sets than when they got to the end of theirs.

| Eight tries off our possession must be some sort of record.

| I can understand teams putting in a couple of bad performances in a season, but its round 13 and we've been taken to the cleaners 4 times this year, absoultly hammered by, Wigan, Huddersfield, Salford and now Warrington, that is a complete joke.

| Culture of the club needs changing. When Noble left we were a tough, loyal hardworking team. Now we're a set of soft jokers, who don't want to put in the hardwork and simply dont give a toss about each other or the club.
Noble back.

| We are a mediocre side due to the mediocre signings Potter made, surely he should be saying get the cheque book back open because we need quality! The side we put out today would be a semi decent championship side at best, the gulf in class was evident today and we need not quantity but the quality players. None of this we are looking at blah blah, rubbish we get the signature it cant be that hard as seems like every bugger else has signed some class. I would actually agree that with Noble back he'd get a tough quality side, makes me laugh when i think that Bradford used to have the best on the line defence in the league!

| Apart from one class basketball style try I don't honestly think Wire had to work for one point in the first half.
In fact (correct me if I'm wrong) I think we finished the first half having made less handling errors and given away less penalties than them. How many trys did they score off charge downs?
This isn't sour grapes I honestly though that Warrington dropped the ball far too many times to win a game by that margin. Bulls are now so bad it's laughable!
At least the beer's cheap!

| I think there's a deeper problem amongst the squad. There was no fight today, they seemed resigned to it from the off. Reminds me of the side that went umpteen games without a win last season and can see us putting a run like that together again.
Not sure why either but it has been alluded to by ex players and in the media that morale has been at rock bottom for years. Not sure what's going on. Is it a symptom of too many defeats over a long period of time?

Potter said this week he's trying to change the culture of the club, but it'll take time. We having a losing culture now. It's a massive job to turn this club around. Noble's a good coach but I don't think he or any coach could do it alone. We need about 3 or 4 top professionals. We've had the odd one in Menzies and Morrison but we need more of that kind of attitude on the field to lead the way.

| Ok - positives first.
Beautiful day for rugby
Sibbit had a good game.
We won the final quarter 14-10. Despite having only 13 fit players, all 4 props on the field and all 3 2nd rowers.
Hopefully Potter will now believe everyone else who told him Sykes is not a stand-off. A fact known to pretty much everyone from last season.
And that is about it.
If anyone was hoping we're a fairweather team, hard tracks etc - that's gone
Our defence was no worse than the Hudds game or the Salford game. A lot worse than the Catalans game or the Leeds game. The inconsistency is appalling.
We have now been mullered 3 times in the league - the problem with this one is it was at Odsal - so everyone saw it.
There was no way we would beat Warrington - I was hoping for a bit more effort though. Leadership is lacking.
We probably set a record for most tries conceded from our own attacking kicks. A whole new way to not complete a set.
The kicking was abysmal today - Herbert, Sykes & Ah van. Also Elima & Whitehead's attacking kicks were poor - why did they end up kicking?
