| Repeating myself I know but...
I think at the minute this is Connor's opinion based on the fact Briggs played yesterday. Unless he knows something beyond that I'm not that convinced yet.
Briggs can easily play in the u20s on Friday and still play on Monday. I'm hoping that Potter, like the rest of us, wanted to see if Briggs performance at Salford was a blip. Given it sounds like he played well yesterday I'm really hoping he plays. If he's still got problems with his knee then fine leave him out but otherwise he should man up and play.
I'm less violently against the idea of Sykes playing at centre or fullback than some but he's not the answer at stand off. Play Briggs while Kearney is out and find out if he is up to the job.

| Surely it's more likely though that briggs won't play Monday because he played yesterday over cause he played yesterday he'll play Monday.

My thoughts as well. I don't understand why Briggs was singled out in the Salford game, did he not just have the same nightmare everybody else did?
Add to that he'd surely be desperate to show fans and coach his worth, he would have had all the motivation in the world going into the Cats game. Sykes seems to me that he's had his time as a stop gap stand off, hope he proves me wrong if we go with him at 6, but Briggs would have been my option.

| Well hopefully Sykes and Herbert will click and we can get something going. Long term I hope Briggs being left out is only down to his knee rather than Potter thinking he's not good enough. Sooner we get a settled half back partnershop the better.
On the plus side, if they play, Crossley and Bateman will have something to prove and bring some enthusiasm. Crossley especially should be keen to make an impression after the way Burgess has come into the team. With any luck it'll be like Quins where Koppy, Addy and Burgess lifted the pace of our game as soon as they came on.
Donaldson is a big loss I think, number of tackles he puts in will be missed.

| Bateman surley on the Bench for this one, he's been 18th man in gods knows how many gmes now. Also hope Sykes has a stormer at 6. And hopefully Royston will actually play FB this week instead of defending at 6.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| We are driving up to Perpignan tomorrow from LLoret. It was San Jorge day yesterday and we got on the local news. We followed the TV cameras and a local political hotshot at the market and my 5yr old managed to get his Bradford Bulls cap in the background on 2 shots! COYB

Probably a tad overstated
He puts in a shift defensively if nothing else. But I must say he has yet to show me that he's the world beater that he was cracked up to be
Of course, at the moment, he's coming back after a serious injury. Hence, I assume, why he is rested this week.

| Donno has had far too much expectation on him. I have been disappointed with him, but only really on the back of this expectation. He doesn't seem big enough to me. I'd imagine he's not quite fully fit to cope with 2 games in such a short space of time.
I also thought Whitehead was going to have a big season, but it's not to be yet.
