| Am I the only one that doesn't understand what's going on here? What exactly is the point?

| Those that want a shirt get a shirt that won't get made otherwise. Bullbuilder get a slice in return for being the conduit.

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

| I've still got two of those shirts, what's going to be different about the Bullbuilder version ?

Here's my idea. Bullbuilder use it as a fundraising venture. People order their shirts on here much as they pledged for the player sponsorship, specifying size and quantity. We then collect the money and order the shirts - I'm thinking heavyweight cotton, proper collar. Result, we all get a shirt and the Bulls get a benefit via Bullbuilder.
Did a similar thing on the old RAB site eight or nine years ago andit worked well despite people having to trust a twenty year old not to screw it up/ leg it with their money. Ended up ordering fifty of those and that was with a much lower usage of the site.
Thoughts? I reckon we could also do this with the all amber with alternate thin red and black hoops that we wore in the thirties. Chpstr (sp?) has done some quality designs of both of these.'"
Looks a good idea, carrying on from phillgee's comment you could have two prices:
£X for Bullbuilder members
£X+10(?) for non-members, who get a shirt and membership

| I still have my original, but these days, I can hardly drag it over my cock.
It does still fit the hens, though, if a bit tight, and as I'd feel mean taking it off them, count me in for the new one.

| I'd definately be up for a bit of this!
Retro shirts are making a bit of a comeback now (all you've got to do is look at how much a faded old manu shirt with Sharp on the front sells for in a vintage shop in Leeds city centre to see what I mean) and its about time we got a Northern one!
In my opinion, a heavy cotten replica of the original would be great. I would be slightly put off if the logo was removed for the Bull builder one......
How much do people expect it to cost per shirt?

| If my old laptop let's me use photoshop without giving me a headache, I'll make sum mock ups of it on photoshop, there is a bulls version of the 93-94 shirt on my photobucket, can redo it with northern badge, if someone could provide an decent image of it, can put the bullbuilder logo over the elgren badge and keep vaux as iirc they don't exist any more so copyright shouldn't be a problem.

No I'm still not getting it. I'm not being an @rse its just baffling me. I'm obviously the only one confused as people appear to be queuing up quicker than at a Libyan port. Why this kit though? Just because it was comically hideous?

20201.jpg "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995):20201.jpg |

Yes I think that's the jist, combined with the untimely return of purple to the present away kit, a limited edition run of this allows us anti-fashionistas, some selective cool, whilst also raising a few bob for BB. I'd definitely be up for it, as my recent fashion history includes wearing an old green bay packers shirt in luminous green satin over a battered bulls hoody, so this would be a proper step up.
Put me down on the list AF, I'd prefer not to have Vaux on it though as I hate advertising, even for defunct companies.

why not keep the shirt the same as original but with bullbuilder logo added at the bottom like they did for langleys testimonial badge last year?. Agree with idea of one price for bullbuilder members and a higher price which includes a years membership for non-members.

28029_1671444168.jpg Don't think i'm biased...

| I'd be interested.
Is it not a replica of the very first Bulls Kit used in the Centinary Season (pre-Super League) if i'm not mistaken. I remember they played in these colours during the transition from winter to Summer but can't remember if its the same shirt.

| I would like it looking the same as the original. Leave the Vaux and everything. It would be a shame to soil a masterpiece.
