I'm not that old but been watching Bradford religiously since I was a nipper and have been lucky enough to see some great players.

Robbie, in his 1st couple of seasons was great to watch and you could see he was going to be a star.

Newlove, when he wanted, was pure class. I remember the length of the field try he scored against Cas in the rain and thick mud. Not seen many who could have repeated that.

I used to like to watch Dave Watson play. Not a legend by any stretch of the imagination, but an entertainer. Nobody knew what he was going to do next, including him.

I think that big Les has to be my favourite player though. On his day, unstoppable.

Trevor Foster, Nigel Stephenson and an injury free Terry Holmes.

Yes, Trevor Foster was an all-time great and also a gentleman. But my choice would be JACK McCLEAN, the great winger who regularly scored 50 tries a season in the 1950s. Only people of my age will remember him, but they will know that he was better than Vainikolo. There was no better sight than to see him make an interception on his own goal line and to run the length of the field to score. Like Foster, he was a gentleman through and through.

Yeah, I wondered about Jack Mclean and also could have added Joe Phillips, Ernest Ward and Frank Whitcombe - but I thought I'd narrow it to the three I posted.

Im sure this has already been posted before on here, but the pathe newsreel showing the 1949 Wembley final is on a well known video site, as is the infamous ( icon_lol.gif ) battle of Elland Road yorkshire cup final replay, complete with a suitably outraged Harry Gration.

If its legends I've seen and would like to see again out of a long list including Robbie, Hanley, Mumby, Les, Jimmy I'd probably choose Henry Paul, world class.

If its legends I never had the chance to see I'd like to see Trevor Foster.

I long for a winger to do airplanes like Brimah Kebbie. What about Tahi Rhiana (excuse the spelling) the only prop forward to be less than 5ft tall.

Henry Paul. The best player i've ever seen pull on a Bradford jersey. He had everything, and was truly world class.

Agree Henry Paul has been one of the best players of the Superleague era but he had his best days before joining the Bulls. Was a great player for us though and can't doubt his class.

For flashy wingers, what about the Bantu Bombshell?

I'd swear he could actually fly, as opposed to Eric Battens's "leaps" . . . . and a nice bloke too.
