| This thread is a bit of a joke. Put quite simply, the club and the manufacturer should ensure that there is enough stock to satisfy demand, especially as the season has not started. I could understand them running out in June or July, when people have bought themfor the season,or might be buying them to go on holiday, but in January, only 8 weeks since they were put on sale..... a joke!
the club have made massive moves in marketing and PR in the last six months, because they have had to. But the commercial side need to get it right too. In the next month, the biggest crowds for 5 years will be coming to Odsal and because of the cheap tickets, they willhave some cash perhaps to buy from the shop. The shop should be running extra promotions to help people part with their cash. This is how the scheme works. The club end up getting the same money out of us, even though we think we're getting a great deal!
Get the stock sorted. even if we have to sell a few off at the end of the year at cost, if people want them and have a spare £35,then they will probably not wait 6 weeks, just find something else to spend it on.

| I understand the frustration isaac, but stock and ordering is a very fine balancing act.
Order too much and you're left with a load of un-wanted stock.
Don't order enough and you get this situation.
Minimum runs will also have to be considered - which will be in the 100's rather than the 10's.
Ordering 100 shirts for 1 sale would be financial suicide would it not?
I don't think the June / July argument stacks up either - I reckon 95+% of shirts will be sold before a ball is even kicked
