I have seen numerous people drink copious amounts at home games with the on field performances being below par.

The club must be making at least £1.20 on every pint.

I think the club also has ideas about a MUCH bigger pledge-counter - watch this space.

All you guys doing the maths out there, don't forget to exclude VAT from all the numbers. And also that VAT goes up to 20% on 4/1/11.

Don't forget too that, on top of the pledges, you'll still have the income from those who have posh membership in the posh black seats in the stand and anyone in the Coral Stand (excluded from the £99 offer). And the walk-ins (will still be some) and the away support (ditto...) so you'll be looking at average attendances more like the old days.

One free for every ten maybe. I'd get about three free per season. Lol.

Lets hope it also encourages a few new fans who'll be hooked!!!

I will actually get in touch though. - As well as encouraging me to do some excersize i'll be helping them out - I'll see if they want me to do all the houses on the main road between Odsal and the Odeon (Thornbury) It'll take a day but hopefully it will add a few.

I've just been talking to a friend who is a Leeds supporter and he misses the good old days of the 20,000+ crowds we used to get at Odsal for the visit of Leeds.

My aim for next season even with the 10,000 pledge is to get an average crowd of 11,500.

Which would be fantastic for the club and something to build on, because once the silver starts appearing which I'm sure it will come in the 2013 Super League winning side, the crowds will be back to 13,000/14,000.
