| Can I just say, having only last night watched the vid, how well Sykes played, despite a couple of howlers. He really did play very well and I would have put him in my 3 if I had watched the vid before voting. Unfortunately for him, he and Sheriffe are the new Platt, and in some quarters it has become de rigueur to deride them, regardless of anything they might actually do on the field, but both (again) had very good, solid games and Sykes was very good.

If you want to change your mind just edit the vote you originally made. I won't begin the count until after the 12pm deadline tomorrow.

| 1. Whitehead (thought he was immense, seemed to be everywhere)
2. Sykes (great game all around, would have topped if not for the daft errors)
3. Kopczak (our best prop on the park for mine)

20201.jpg "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995):20201.jpg |

Honorable mentions to Sykes, Beaver, Hall... in fact all round it was a damn fine and gutsy performance, which went a long way to making amends for the shambles a week before. Thought Southernwood was sharp, imaginative and could well prove to be a great asset, nice to see Ox helping out, gives me hope he'll be back again for the Bulls depite the rumours to the contrary.

19829_1320257469.gif Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_19829.gif |

And well done to all the youngsters who showed pride and skill and demonstrated that the future could be pretty good..... we just need to get through the present.
