If at first you don't succeed, sit back and try and think of something else to do!!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_28704.jpg

yes its another loss, yes we conceeded points...but be honest, is anyone surprised by those points?

surely the silver lining today was the number of kids that gained some valuable experience...and although they may have been lacking in some size, they certainly werent lacking in heart, enthusiasm, passion and determination...something the majority of senior players have lacked in the last few weeks.

i for one, am a much happier bulls fan tonight!!

So you should be fella, a performance full of character and some pride in the shirt - which is what the Bulls fans have been demanding.

A couple more experienced bodies on the pitch and it might have been a very good win indeed.

i second that...and whatever macca has or hasnt done with the 1st team, the fruits of his labour with the youth structure at the club were on show for all to see tonight.

Magnificent effort all round consider the players missing and the injury to Scruton.

Thought the kids kid a great job and we weren't far of nicking the game. There's some real reasons to be positive about the future when you look at the young players at the club.

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7741.jpg

We were never favourites today. Personally I expected us to take a sever kicking off of Warrington. But we looked a lot more settled this week. We had a better idea what was going on and we showed some enthusiasm.

Yes we lost but, and I know we hear this from the club every week, there ARE positives to take from this game.

Given we were playing with 2 new wing/centre combinations as well as another new half back pairing, we didn't do too badly. The young lads stood up and showed they deserve their spots in the team. The old heads who should be leading the team did that.

I'm disappointed with the loss as all fans would be. But I saw a team that tried which is something that we've not seen for a while.

After being at todays game i feel alot better that last week. In my eyes it went the same way as the challenge cup tie, fought back from 2 tries down, huge amount of effort, 1 dodgy ref decision when momentum was swinging our way then in the last 10 minutes Warringtons little bit of class came through. No complaints on our performance, everyone put in a good and solid performance just wished we seen abit more of Southernwood on the ball. Think Glenn Hall had 1 of his best games making solid yards, same with the rest of the pack. Although Sykes threw a few bad passes i think he organised the team well and we always looked a threat. All in all a good performance but just edged out by a team full of quality. No complaints.

Think Southernwood will only get better with experience. He looked tentative at first, to be expected but some nice touches later on. Give him a couple of years and he could really go far.

Today I thought was a great effort all round. Hall had his best game for us and the effort from L'Strange was superb. Sykes worked his ass of to create play, it didn't always work out but you could see they all wanted it a lot more.

So proud of the effort and commitment from every player today.

The forwards stood up well - especially Worrincy and Kopzcak!! icon_biggrin.gifAISY:

Southernwood wasn't bad and he doesn't look too suspect in defence for his size.

Sykes & L'Estrange were both great, created more chances. Sykes made 1 bad error in defence and didn't reach touch from a penalty, but apart from that went well.

Hopefully that will give them some confidence to kick on for next week.

Beaver was excellent (apart from letting the ball bounce from the kick off. He knew he'd messed up though and put his hand up straight away.

You can see why Tony Smith is so well repsected too - stayed to shake every one of our players' hands. Well done Tony.

Southernwood got better as the game went on. His passing was sharp and accurate, no problems and as you said will only get better.
The Team looked a little shell shocked at the reception they got from the fans after the game. All the young lads went well, couldn't find much to complain about really. A few silly mistakes and some soft tries let in but the effort was there. The young lads will be buzzing and the Burgii must be chomping at the bit. Can't see any reason not to give one of them a run out next week. Southernwood to start again next week for me....

We don't need to. Unless Scruton isn't available then I don't think we need to drop any of the four props who all showed up well.

Kopzcak was good today and stood up like everybody wanted him to.

I'm a big fan of Beaver but he was poor today, I have no idea how you can call his performance excellent.

A much improved performance, roll on next week.

I'm not saying drop but rotate, the Props did go OK but no harm to get them in the mix now. None of the other young lads have let us down and no reason to suspect they would.

I think Kopczak looks better now he's one of the more experienced props on the field, Southernwood didn't have any problems and everybody clearly was working hard. Disappointing result but Warrington were 2 trys better than us today and no complaints about that.

Well that was a massive improvement on the last 2 weeks. I thought that was a real gutsy performance from the Bulls and I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I thought our senior players really stood up today and all our young guys made a positive contribution.

McNamara will be disappointed with the two soft Higham scores, we really did deserve at least a point from the match IMO. The defence could still do with some tightening up, I hope Langley is back soon because he will make a difference.

I thought L'Estrange was by far the best player on the pitch today, certainly not the 'average' player some of the 'experts' on here would have you believe. He's been an excellent addition to the squad and is undoubtedly one of our best players. eusa_clap.gif

Went home happy today despite defeat, pity more fans didn't take advantage of the cut price tickets. I'll quite happily go watch a side with good young lads giving it their best.
