I'd go with Reardon at full back and Kearney at Stand Off, although Kearney had a great game last week i believe we missed that spark in the halves..

Lets replace the whole team with players we have not named in the squad. That will keep them guessing.

The rule's there to stop teams fielding weaker teams. We have added a stronger player.

Undoubtably Kearney at full back. A masively compenant defender in that position and scope to use his attacking potential with entry any where down the 3/4 line.
So first name on the team sheet in the back line. After that it must be Sykes at stand off.
After that Platt goes into a centre roll with probaly Nero.
Wings will be perm any 2 from 3 Sheriffe, Halley, Reardon. depending on the coaches prediliction for pace, attaking/defensive capability, work rate, positional awarenesss, tackling, ball handling, support play etc etc etc.
So no indications obvious here as to their relative superior merits for selection.
Maybe Sheriffe who seems to be improving his game might get the first call. After that, who knows exept Macca.

Other teams include players signed in the squad... Cas for instance signing Ainscough and playing him this year. The 19 man squad is only there so you don't field a team full of players from your reserves. Smith is in our 1st team squad.

But not mentioned in your 19? So doesn't someone have to drop out injured to add a new one?

TBF I'm not too bothered. If it was the opposite way around i would want your best players playing regardless as to whether they were in the 19 or not if available.

Ask the majority of Wigan fans last week. As good as it was to beat us they would have prefered to do it with us at full strength.

And as for your original question... That can't be the case as it happens every time there's a last minute signing.

I don't care whether Lee Smith is playing, or if its Lewis & Johns running the show, I just hope we stick it to them and that its a good match.
