| Well I'd keep Kearney at FB, move Nero to right centre, Halley to left wing and reardon to left centre

731.jpg Bradford gave us Hockney, Leeds gave us Moyles.:731.jpg |

| Despite only winning three games, Leeds have scored hal as many points again as us. Going in hope rather than expectation.

Unless you use a very big, or very sharp, stick?
Or send for a bazooka.
Since we lack both a very big stick and a bazooka (the last one of those is a Bunny now) we'll need to resort to a very sharp one. Maybe the one likely to be playing at FB?

And you want to drop Platty on what basis? He was solid last night as like the week before! Macca made the right call on dropping Halley last night - he has been poor for us this season so far!

That's a big call. He's been nowhere near his form last season, but I wouldn't say poor. Nero, Reardon & Worrincy are the one's who've been poor so far imo.

Surely Leeds have arranged a ref who can prevent that Mick?

Dave's for has dipped compared to last season - possibly complacency creaping in?
I would agree with all three too - Nero another one who seems to have become complacent with his centre spot - maybe he would be best used as a replacement 2nd rower? Reardon i feel just needs more game time and confidence and Worrincy - i think enough has been said/made of his contribution this season!

Fair enough. I don't think it's complacency with Halley - He knows he hasn't got a god given right to his place in the squad and this is reflected by his 100% effort every time he takes the field. I think it's just a case of things not going right for him myself.
Nero never impressed me too much till the back-end of last season. Now he's gone back to his average ways and looks lazy & disinterested. If him and Reardon don't gel soon we really need a change there.

Nero hasn't been the player he was last year and Worrincy has been very disappointing but I think Reardon should be cut a bit of slack. He had a very bad injury last season and it will take a bit of time to fully recover. I noticed he has started staying out on his wing in defence even when the attack was over the far side. We've defended well (allowing for occasional lapses) in the last few games so this seems to be working. The fact that our defensive system seems to be working well is also one reason for not making too many changes in the backs imo.

I suppose that is a positive, but i'd just like to see a bit more attacking threat on that side. The pace of Halley or Crookes could do that.

remember reardon tracking back to stop donald in pre-season game? bit unfair to say he lacks pace. I'd like to try nero on bench as 2nd row/ with a combination of halley/reardon on wing and reardon/crookes in depending on who is available . Dont think a massive change is needed and the less disruption to the team the better. make one small change each week and see how it works rather than make wholesale changes each week.

| The problem with the Rhinos is they can play s##t and still hand out tonkings because of their strike capabilities. Going to be tough, both teams will raise it and will be an exciting encounter
Looking forward to it

| With the pitch at Shedingley being as sandy as it is, I reckon it would be quite funny if the Bulls fans made an effort to attend the game in theme costume.
Perhaps a theme based on the seaside? We could attend in bermuda shorts, take a few beach balls, a bucket and spade to build sandcastles, you get the idea!

With the biting wind outside at the moment, it'd be a different kind of balls we'd need to be worrying about...
