I think some of our senior players such as Menzies and Orford will be disappointed with what they came up with. However for someone like Orford to take control we need to be matching the opposition pack. I thought we did that in the 1st half but by the 2nd half we were struggling. People like Scruton, Lynch and Hall just had too much work to cover against such a powerful side. I remarked on Kopczak at the game, he just doesn't bring enough to the side in offence for his weight. Hard worker in defence but we need more impact from our biggest Prop. However I doubt Langley alone would have swung the result, but he may well have had made the game a little closer in such a key area. I just hope he is ok again for Hull.

I thought looking past the scoreline last night, it showed we will be a good side this year with a few alterations to the 17. I still feel we could do with at least one new player into the squad, this squad may well run out of steam by the end of the year.

I think Wire will do well this year from what I have seen. They have a good coach in Smith but he is fortunate to have a group of players who seemingly are willing to play for much less than most in SL to be part of the Wire team!

The goal kicking is the main concern for me, mainly because its not likely to improve much this season. An extra 6pts from 3 relatively easy kicks would have kept us in the game when they scored those 2 tries in quick succession.

3 wins from 6 games is probably a fair reflection of where we are at the moment. We can play well on occasions but arent good enough to beat the better teams when we make as many errors as we did yesterday.
