| Absolutely brilliant second half and I've not seen the family stand rock for the last 20 minutes like it did tonight.
Well done lads, well done Langers you worked your socks off and well done whoever got the floodlights to come back on, a worrying moment ot two that I bet.

After a couple of cries of "Forward!" from our fans, the Wiganer behind me shouted "Are you Saints? You whinge like them!" - and then proceeded to whinge about every single tackle and every single refereeing decision.

| Couldn't be happier. A great effort by the lads, but we can't keep giving teams a 20 minute head start on us. I don't know if it's the warm up or what, but it needs addressing.
I was dissapointed when I went to the little boys room just as they scored to go 20-0 up, and a handfull of so called fans were leaving. They were all having their say on whos fault it was!!
Apart from those few idiots, who have missed a real "I was there" night IMO I thought the support tonight was the best in a long while.

At half time I don't think I was alone when I was thinking we should just go back to plan A and turn the lights off again.
Psychological as much as anything, the 2nd try just put a bit of a ? in their heads - and we just applied the pressure. Tomkins kicking game just vanished.
The main thing that gets the stand rocking - it is not great tries, it is not a great comeback.
The main thing is keeping the opposition out when we feel (rightly or wrongly)they have been given lucky ( or plain wrong) calls from the ref which got them in a scoring position. The sound that comes down from the stand then is amazing. The defence was great in that 2nd half.
Orford was not totally pleased at the after match interview though was he?

1589.jpg when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.:1589.jpg |

I pointed out to him in the coral that he was wearing a red and white tie and he came out with some crap about it being an RFL tie.
kidding!
Great blokes the officials. Don't deserve [imost[/i of the criticism they get!

| Had a massive 'mental' when Hall went in for that try. One of the biggest in recent times. I was only at home in my living room too haha.

| Well, I will confess that at half-time my bet on the Bulls by 6 or less was looking shaky, but what a superb second half from the lads. Of course, not faultless, but I just thought that Mac found all the necessary fixes, and as a result we basically controlled the whole second 40.
There has been whingeing about our conditioners and fitness etc., but surely that myth has been laid to rest? Frankly fitness has never been the problem.
Orford gets better each week as does Kearney, L'Estrange is everywhere, Menzies must be on something - surely - but Jamie Langley is in the early frame for MOS. He was - again - immense, and it was he who made the critical run that put us on the finishing straight.
The defence really worked overtime in the second half, and kept it up. We never lost our belief. Even near the end, when Roberts got the ball we hit him real hard and this extra effort caused a fumble. And what a good feeling as Hall crashed over. Not heard a roar like that at Odsal for a long time, nor a longer round of applause. The players must have finally understood that we all love them really, and they seemed to lap it up.
And the bonus is that the floating voters will have gone home happy as Larry, having been treated to a breathtaking finish and a superb second half show, and every one will come again.
Yes, it was one of those "I Was There" nights, was that.

There's nothing worse than a bad loser, except perhaps a bad winner.
But well done, Eddie, on demonstrating so ably precisely why you were unfit to be a moderator. It's been several years since you've been in a position to gloat, we have had little or no interaction since Bullragegate, and one marginal win early doors of the season, and you post as if you've won a final.
Muppet.
Furthermore, FWIW, I said we'd lose tonight, and we did, so I'm not sure where this arrogance you mention is.
I thought becoming a father might have helped you become a better person, but clearly not.

Full compliments to Mr McNamara tonight for completely stunning probably the majority of us. That was a magic comeback.
At half time I had my usual rant already written but I am glad I said nothing and saw it through to the end. Congratulations guys on a terrific comeback and that will go someway to avenging the play off disaster of a couple of years ago.
This week saw a big change for me. Yes, I am very critical of Bradford these days but I can accept criticism from our own fans but not so much that of other teams. The wiganers were, on the whole, hugely disrespectful of us this week and they head home along the M62 feeling somewhat foolish tonight I guess. Good.
I hope that I can be allowed this thread to not be merged tonight cos I will get it with both barrels I am sure but there is no case for the prosecution tonight, as that was remarkable.
Well done Bradford and I await the likes of Hogan, Odemwingie etc coming on here and eating a big portion of humble Pie after some of their comments.
And to Fishsta???? Ha ha ha. Get it right up you.
My regards, Ed.'"
I've always liked you mate and even though sometimes your posts have made me want to spew I've agreed with your right to comment.
But after tonight every man and his dog can agree that that second half performance was top draw. If only we'd have played like that in the first half!
