Whitehead of Olbi in instead of Crossley and that will be it I reckon.
Can't see Crossley being put in for this one, shortage of props or not.

It may well show whether the coaching staff think Crossley is going to make it or not.
If they don't put him in when Kopczak & Scully are both out, it seems to me that there are no plans for him to make the first team except for massive injury crisis, and he clearly won't be staying after this year.

I know it's unlikely, but none of us have considered that Kopzcak's injury could be totally non-serious and could be back for Hudds, highly unlikely but would certainly be a boost.

[iWHAT'S THE NEWS ON THE SQUAD?[/i
[iWell we came through the Hull KR game relatively unscathed. We had a major scare with Craig Kopczak, who we thought had broken his leg but that proved unfounded and Stuart Reardon who suffered a Dead Leg but he has looked after himself really well.[/i
Anybody thinking Koppy might play?

| I'd be surprised if Koppy played but there's a possibility. AFAIK there's been no news of what his injury actually is.
I suspect if he's just got a nasty bruise the prop forward union may have to take him to task for being stretchered off!

| If he's fit, then I should think & hope so. Otherwise, I wouldn't like to see him rushed back at the risk of further injury.

Yep, I know what you're saying tho' . I'm reluctant to pick Sykes IMO his only two reliable positions are FB or SO and as at the moment they're both taken I'd have to leave him out

tbh after seeing a couple of his performances for bulls at fb last season and for england against france ( I think), I wouldnt class FB as one of his reliable positions anymore.

| I'd pick Crookes for right wing partnering Sykes. I wouldn't feel too confident of a Crookes/Sheriffe combo against the Giants.

| Realistically, I think the best Crookes can hope for (atm) is a bench spot, as I doubt Macca will drop either Sykes or Sheriffe yet, but give them a chance first!!

| Quote: "We had some good news after the Hull KR game when it was found that Koppy did not break his leg. We have all been giving him it in training; you know the old ‘Koppy Wave' - waving and clapping the fans as he was stretchered off as anyone who was at Hull KR will understand. I really felt for him when it happened because I broke my leg last year and it looked like it was a serious break but when it was found out he had only bruised his foot he has been getting some stick from the lads and who've giving him the ‘Koppy Clap'!!
'"
He's been training then - Bruised foot apparantly . He might be playing on friday.
