except he doesnt have ball handling skills to play loose. loose forward needs to be capable of oofloading and creating things - langley very rarely does either.

He did when he was in the academy yeah. In fact I seem to remember commenting on an academy game and saying he wouldn't make too bad a stand off.
In recent years though he has the same chance of playing 6 as Joe Vagana did.

thats the operative word there. couple of years back he looked like being our long term solution at loose, but for whatever reason he seems to have stalled in his development and even gone slightly backwards.

Personally I don't think it has anything at all to do with the coaching he is getting.

I think the only season he's missed a significant amount of game time was a couple of years ago. Struggling to remember 5 years back though, I can barely remember yesterday....

He can offload and we all know he can.
But being creative and offloading are neither tanatamount to being a good loose though in my opinion, the two best loose forwards currently playing (Dallas Johnson and Paul Gallen) are neither particularly good at either of those things, but they are still outstanding loose forwards arn't they?
He was in brilliant and destructive form before he picked up that bad injury in 2007, he hasn't looked the same sinse. Not sure why it is, but he doesn't seem to be as agaile as he once was.

Dallas Johnson and Paul Gallen are workhorses, and two of the fittest players you'll see. Neither of these qualities are shared by Jamie Langley.

Really, I think that's a little unfair.

| Langley's problem is that he carries far too much bulk for his height and frame which has nulified his pace. Am I right in thinking he was a pacey mobile LF? Now he just seems a defensive workhorse. I'm suprised noone on the Bulls coaching staff has noticed this.

| Don't get me wrong, i'm not slagging him off. He never stops trying. All i'm saying is that it's inevitable that someone his size is going to struggle playing 80 minutes, and I don't think that loose forward is his best position. As i've mentioned in a previous thread he doesn't have the footwork or handling skills that IMO a 13 should have.
