Reading the caption Dave Craven (or an unnamed sub editor who didn`t know) mentioned booing from the Bulls faithful. I`m not trying to start another thread but there was no booing from behind the posts where the fans clapped the team off in the normal manner, and I was there until the team had left the field so I reckon I would have heard this chorus of boos if it happened.

I spotted that and wondered. Retraction required? I know the T&A is hardly the newspaper of record these days, but it would be nice if they didn't just make stuff up.

The caption reads "a chorus of dissapproval" and that's exactly what was coming from the people near me.

But if we can deflect from the poor performance by deciding the local paper is now against us we might as well eh? Finding yet another external factor to heap blame on is always useful.

It must be a new guy then because the usual one has a bald head.

I'm not sure that scaking the stats guy is going to make the stats any better...

I didn't hear any either.

There was one girl near me booing constantly after the final whistle. But she was the only one I heard, everyone else who hadn't gone as soon as the whistle went, was applauding.
