| I ticked yes but I was confused I meant no.
Really, really, really sorry to say this but I think a regime change to freshen things up and try and create a buzz about the place might be needed now. I'll be at all the home matches at least that's a given but I would just like to enjoy my sunday afternoons at Odsal and the few away games I make it to. That doesn't neccessarily mean a win. Last year away at Saints was the best time I've had at a rugby match in a long time and we got tonked.

| At this moment in time I can't see where a win is going to come from. OK we beat Wakey the last time we played them but if we do lose that next up, that is followed by:
Wire away (who are playing well again)
Saints at home
Leeds away
If we don't win any of these games (which is now a high possibility) I dread to think what our crowds will be for the home games after them.

| If we'd appointed a respected assistant coach from down under who the club had no previous links with when Noble went...then he turned in what we have seen over the last couple of seasons, would this hypothetical aussie still be in a job today? i suspect not. are the club giving Mcnamara more time because he's "one of ours?"

We are starting to remind me of Wire under Paul Cullen - only we are worse!
Wire stuck with Cullen far too long and we are doing the same now with Macca.
Sometimes you've just got to bite the bullet. Short term it might be worse but we've got to get this sorted. The fans keep the club going financially and if most of them leave you don't have a club.

| Sadly the time is now well and truly up for McNamara. His inability to fix the problems which have affected us now for the last 18 month is enough of a reason.

I'm not sure that every member of the board can possibly be 100% behind the coach or the chairman right now.
Lot's of rumours do the rounds but that's all they are so leaving that to one side it's the boards duty to ensure the viability of the club as a going concern.
Forget the 11000 break even point because we have no proof of whether that is true except for Peter Hood's comments in the T&A. But the board simply can't have budgetted for the last two home attendances. Given that the last one was the second lowest attendance since super league began they must have lost money on it. Plus there is the loss of faith in the brand and this must have been relayed back from the clubs sponsors.
The lack of any real innovation at the club is probably a sign of a lot of fire fighting within the organisation. Contrary to what comes out of the club they simply can't operate in a bubble and every body can't get on with each other. Do you all find that everyone in your places of work get on?

| I'm sorry but for those fans who point to the 3 top 3 teams we've beaten this year I'll point to the teams we've lost against. How anybody can argue he's doing a good job is beyond me, I have targets to achieve in my job and if i was performing as he was i'd be sacked for poor performance and rightly so!!
I'm tired of the excuses & the reasons because we're building to the future, we wouldn't build to the future by signing 34/35 year olds despite how well there playing. SM said he'd pick players on form, he's clearly not doing that and continues to play the same old predictable players playing the same old predictable way.
He says he doesn't understand why we playing as we are.....Taxi for McNamara, because i do...it;s you!!!!

| I voted no. This is my message.
Steve - you need to go now and keep the respect you have earned as a loyal servant of this club. You have tried your best.
Sometimes you can have faith in your abilities, believe you have the answers, hope that in time things get better but find everything you touch turns to dust. This is the situation. Be brave Steve, hold up your hands, admit defeat and walk away with our admiration and respect.
For the love of Bradford Bulls, go and go now.

Others/combustable.gif Red Amber and Black Fantasy Rugby League Champion 2012.
By far the most sensible posts on this thread have come from mystic eddie. - copyright Ewwenorfolk 09.04.2013
Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

| There is not a lot that I can add bar the fact that I could see this coming some time ago. Mr McNamara, no doubt some of your backers (if there are any left as the only ones on this poll have not had the balls top tell us why) will keep on pointing to the games against Leeds and Saints this season as an example of your ability. I see it the other way TBH. We know that the players can play when they want to do so and, as such, know the ability that the side has. It is just a shame that the same players seem to be incapable of raising there game against "lower sides". (I use the term "lower sides" with certain trepidation because there is a good chance that after tonight I would only be able to refer to them in the singular.)
It looks to me like the players do not respect you as otherwise they would maybe do.....
a. as you tell them, or,
b. what they say they will do every week in the press.
TBH, this week was probably the only time that many will have believed what came out in the press in the fact that Mr Worrincy pretty much said that the players had the incorrect attitude and treated a visiting side with disrespect. And for that, what do we get? The same 19 in the squad next week!!!! As guess what? They let you down again.
Maybe if you had any balls you might have thought to drop one or two of these players who are not giving you the 100% effort that you need at the moment then you would get a bit more sympathy but your stubborn-ness to drop the players that you signed shows, to me, that you do not want to admit that they were the wrong players to bring in in the first place.
People will point to the "great efforts" you have gone to in getting the youth policy back on track. Fair enough - but look at the first team? Your tenure has led to embarrassment on the pitch on a number of occasions and Odsal is now eerily quiet as people are beginning to turn their backs on the club thanks to your "efforts" as a coach.
Luckily for you, your boss Mr Hood has less balls than you so you will survive in your job but if you had any dignity you would just walk away and admit that you have been a monumental failure, as you are not ever gonna sort it out.

Personally I think, given a number of factors going in his favor then he "can" turn this around. However, given those factors are not directly under his control - the likes of results going in our favor; players taking some sort (any?) pride in what they personally do on the pitch and in delivering the aspirations and dreams of the faithful; playing to their (by your own posts elsewhere) proven capabilities AND consistently et al. - I'm increasingly of the opinion that he won't. FWIW

| Before now I haven't really been on the "give Macca the Sacka" bandwagon, but today I think every real Bulls fan, or even Northern fans will be doing including me. Regardless of their form Salford and Celtic -no disrespect- are two sides we should be playing off the park and coming away with the two points. On paper our last two games should have been in the bag, but the players seemed de-motivated and fed up. It's time to go Steve.

Hmmm.
I know [iwhy [/iyou're saying [iwhat [/iyou've said . . . but to imply that you're not a real Bulls fan if you don't want Macca sacking is a bit off, IMHO.
You could go down the route of discussing the merits of what is/isn't a "real Bulls" fan . . .it'd go on forever, there wouldn't be any consensus and . . . . what would be the point really.
