| I did say practically 'fell over the line' Put it this way, I didn't think either of them took much scoring to be honest, although to be fair he did finish them well. Maybe I expected more from him, especially with the three guys stood behind me who seemed to have wild orgasms every time he did anything half decent. 
Was a close game though and could have gone either way, thought we just shaded it (but I would) |

At the end of the day we made too many mistakes in our own half and it cost us dear. Wakey kept us camped in our own half pretty well. It's a bit frustrating as two of their tries came directly from unforced howlers, the first when Langley failed to deal with the kick off after our first try and the second when Jeffries passed to nobody.
That said we did alright and finished the stronger despite being crippled with injuries. Sykes at stand off is a bit desperate, Menzies played well in the centres I thought but didn't get the involvement he needed. Thought Newton plyed well as did Worrincy and Cook. Solomona was a bit of a disaster though, again tried too hard to get the ball away and made costly errors.

Thought it was 50 50 myself with both teams making errors, could quite easily have gone the other way.

To be honest I would settle for us being average at the moment!!!
We will have to agree to disagree on the forwards performances but I certainly agree about the errors, a very stop and start game which never really got going, we will both have to improve as the season goes on.

Terribly dissapointing, what happened to that side that played Leeds on Friday evening? In my books there are to many established players letting us down with rookie errors, I wont go nameing names but we all know who they are. It's about time they booked up their idea's or were dropped.
