Yup, I'd agree with most of that. Go back through my posts and you'll see I tend to venture opinions, ask others what they thought, question what they say when it doesn't seem to tally with what I know or what I've heard from other people who have gone to the game - my dad, my brother, my uncle, folk on here, journos.

You don't need to have been at the Battle of Hastings to have an opinion on it. Historians would love to be able to interview an eye-witness, yet they may well already have a better idea of why Harold lost than any poor sod on the scene despite living a thousand years hence. If however all they had to say was 'He lost, he was useless, end of. Fact', they wouldn't be very good historians.

I think the difference between you and I is that while my view - SM is not perfect but probably our best option - is one that is compatible with all aspects of how the Bulls' perform, creditworthy or not, you seem to have headed to an extreme where you feel comfortable stating this...


If you can find anything creditable about a club that has drawn one match and narrowly lost another then I'm afraid you lose credibility.

Now if this sounds like me (ie me, not M.E.), Adey and FA trying to silence Eddie... it's not, certainly not from me and I'm pretty confident not from the other two as well. But if you post your opinion on here, you're fair game for criticism. If you feel you get more than your fair share, maybe that's because you make sweeping generalisations without evidence.

Make "pretty confident" instead "100% certain".

I've got plenty of opinions of my own ,as you'd see if you looked in threads other than on your pet topic. I choose to avoid commenting in your threads as I just cant be bothered engaging in debate with someone so totally blinkered to other peoples opinions as you come across

"Assumed suspects"? Don't flatter yourself. In fact, I am referring to people who either rarely post on here now (you and Asim and the Negative Tendency generally being the principal reason) or who are mere readers and don't ever post.

One of those people - who sits very near to me - has indicated he would have serious difficulty resisting the urge to deck you if he ever met you. Most of the others, whilst angry with your attitude, just think its sad how someone can let their obsession with being the big man and always right turn them into what you appear to have become.

So there you have it. Warts and all.

And having seen your post written while I was writing this...I am more than willing to not jump down your throat every five minutes if you'll at least try and meet half-way.
