| While some of the acts we're seeing may not be that good we should remember that the club's budget for pre match ents is a fraction of what it was 10 years ago so quality is bound to be a bit variable.
However if you know of a decent act that won't cost the earth I'm sure the club would be happy to hear from you.
There are a lot of people doing a lot of different jobs up at Odsal and I know any help would be gratefully received.

It may start us on a slippery slope back to the days of naff all pre match stuff so not so sure.
Perhaps more could be made of the little league sometimes? I expect kids would love it to have their names announced on the PA if they scored or having their names in the programme. By making the kids feel a bit special we'd maybe attract a few back as fans. It'd certainly help build a bit of loyalty to the club.

Difficulty is getting the pitch space whilst the players are warming up.
I think more could possibly be made of the track area but I'm unsure what.
I don't actually know of anyone who times their arrival at the Stadium specifically to see the pre-match act. I certainly don't and once the act commences you can forget all about any sort of conversation with anyone round about for the duration.
It just seems to be an inconvenience that has to be endured for 10 minutes or so before kick off.

Just a suggestion, why not include a small advert in the programme giving the name of the act and contact details (should anyone wish to book them for a function), this "free advertising" could be used as part payment for performing.

| Play both academy games the 18's and 21's that would be a better option .

| Why book acts at all?
If the club hasn't got much money, instead of booking rubbish acts why not just play music over the loudspeakers? Does anyone actually watch the acts while they're 'singing'?

| Kareoke would be better than some of the acts we've had.
I'd prefer they had 4/5 top notch acts for the "bigger" games of the season and had a play with the pre match format in the other games.
I think more fan v opposition fans participation would be good.
Didn't we talk about getting bulltag going between two sets of fans pre match? Wouldn't need the whole pitch if it was 7 a side or similar.
Other things away from music are an option too.
From the top of my head we've had parachuting, absailing, police dogs to name but a few. These were all enjoyable, had people watching and in the case of the police dogs; give a link between the Bulls and other good things being done in the commuinity.

AFAIK the police dogs and Royal Marines will be back this season.
Agree about the fan participation.
Would be more than happy to have a game of Bulltag. I know of a few teams that'd be up for that. Last summer we had the "Tri Village Tournament" between Lost Loiners, Rawdon Rhinos and Bradford Whelks which was a big success. The Whelks just lost out in the final.
I'm sure all three teams would be more than up for a re-run on Odsal's hallowed turf!

and the police dogs. They were very popular with the crowd. I've never seen that kind of crowd reaction for dodgy singers.

They used to have a karaoke van up by the Rooley Lane terrace on matchdays, many a classic performance could be seen there pre-match!

| I've just been looking at Hull FC's ebay shop.
Perhaps it'd be a good idea for the Bulls to have one too.
It'd be a lot more visible than the official online store which is not exactly high tech!
They could use it to sell the normal range of shop goods. Each one only needs a photo and the items are easy to set up and manage. Customer payments are easily handled through pay pal and ebay deal with time wasters through the points system where bad payers are shown up as such.
Hull sell one-off items through theirs. Ex players shirts and special offers and all kinds of things. It could be a real money spinner.

| I've been meaning to ask for some time if there's any reason why we can't have a cash machine at Odsal.
I know there have been security issues before but I think measures have been taken to sort that out and anyway it could go in the ticket office or something. The nearest cash machines are at Morrisons or up in Wibsey (There's one in the All Days shop on Odsal road but it's rarely working).
Pubs and shops get ones in which make a small charge of which the host gets a cut. Also people spend more money if they can get cash.
I'm always running short of cash on match days and I'd use it for sure.
