| I can confirm one of the interested parties has withdrawn. Their proposal was to establish new club as community interest company with fans representation and foundation representation on the board however the conditions, timescale and the loss of revenue that needs honoured for 2017 season due to previous regime has led them to withdraw.
Very much seems like any preferred bidder will be based upon their financial clout rather than plans for the club. Hopefully this won't lead to another example of club living beyond their means.
It would seem the RFLs agenda is very much geared towards protecting their own interests (which in many ways they are entitled and correct to do so) over ensuring the community of Bradford are delivered a sustainable community focussed club.

This sounds like you Mark? Sorry to hear you've pulled out but perfectly understand your reasoning.

Wonder if that's the Lamb bid, he seemed to want the fans involved. Oh well at least we won't have the Bulls Banter Facebook page forming their own committee now

| Ah well. I'm sure some Giants fans be along shortly saying it's karma. They love that for some reason.
Who knows, maybe Huddersfield will dual reg with any new Bulls club or loan us some players.

| Quote HamsterChops="HamsterChops"And there goes O'Brien. Confirmed by Huddersfield on a 3 year contract.
The sheer amount of young talent Huddersfield take from Bradford is unreal. Not that I blame them for signing him or O'Brien for securing his future. But why would Huddersfield bother with a proper academy system when they continue to get the best young talent from us?'"
Maybe we should wind up the Bulls and support them, their team will have a very familiar look to it.
It looks like they have the Bulls team we could of had if we weren't so appallingly managed over the past 10 years.

Sounds like Richard Lamb's bid to me. Lamb making all the noises and then not going through with it? To the surprise of absolutely nobody.
I also expect "Highlander" is another Gledalias.

| Quote Bully_Boxer="Bully_Boxer"Giants back in for another one of academy products then, no surprises there.
I genuinely hope any new owner tells the rfl to stick their -12 points. Which Bulls fan honestly wants to go watch a makeshift side in 2017 desperately try to avoid relegation? Let's start with a clean slate, in a division which will be competitive in. That's where the majority of fans of other clubs want, that's what most Bulls fans appear to want.
As things stand, I'm getting pretty close to declaring 'I'm out'. I think it was Bulliac who said 'all fans want is a sporting chance and the opportunity to dream' I think he is spot on.
Any new owner has a massive task getting the supporters back on side.'"
I've already said that if Derek Richardson, David Thorne and Marc Green get the club as specified from what they said at the not so secret meeting then I'm pulling my son out of the academy who already has offers from Leeds and Wigan.
There is no future for him at Bradford under this snatch and grab ownership model which will see us back in Administration in two years time with deal to basically employ all the old staff back.

He seems minted at about the level where an extra 50k would be a complete showstopper and time to walk too.
edit: Hindle you just did it to me. Grrr.

He was busy on Twitter last night so I doubt it. Talking about fans engagement and how it would secure the clubs future, still no nearer to finding out who exactly is funding his bid.

It's hard isn't it? A massive part of me all through this has been saying to myself that as long as the club still exists, I'll be there. Not necessarily a Phoenix club, but if it's the Bulls at Odsal with most of the squad, I'll be there. But every time another released player goes elsewhere and reduces the chances of us signing them back once up and running again, it gets harder.
The prospects of turning up to watch a team get hammered every week with the likes of James Mendeika in the centres and Vila Halafihi at hooker really doesn't get my excitement up (with no disrespect meant to them, but it's hard not to look at those type of average players).
I want to be loyal. I want to show my support. But am I doing it at the expense of enjoying my Sundays?
