According to MG it will be announced who has got the lease in early July, I think he said 4th July.

I believe he said July 5th, i.e. the day after the General Election.
Whether that is relevant in any way or simply a co-incidence, I guess we will see... |

Just been reading an article in the T&A https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/ ... gue-close/ about the odsal lease and any decision on who gets the lease now looks to be delayed, "until late summer". Does anyone know when the next IMG scoring is carried out? It looks like the club are ready to invest in the stadium to up our score, but will they have time with this decision being oushed back? |

Wonder what the reason is for the delay? The RFL have a difficult decision to make (situation is their own making) but need to act rather than kick the can down the road.

A delay doesn't appear to be in anyone's best interests, but of course I'm not privy to what's going on in the background. But to hear that club has plans for improvement is very encouraging and even if the decision is delayed we appear to be taking account of different potential outcomes rather than relying on obtaining the lease, which given our history sounds refreshingly level headed.
