Lee Jewitt is a good call.

| Quote: woolly07 "I am relatively happy with our backs as we still have George and Blythe to come in. I would like to see George as he is big and is very quick. But who do you drop?
Kearney and Addey are cover at the halves with Kear / Foster cover at full back.
I would throw any money we have at two or three tough forwards. Two props for me. I would take Mason on a one year deal with possible extension. The deal with Mexico may be dead as wouldn't he be here by now?
We still have one overseas slot. There must be a decent experienced forward down under who is warming the bench or not getting guaranteed place who fancies a couple of years living and working in the "pearl" of Yorkshire. Lets phone the contacts we have down there to see if they know of someone.
I am sure Franny and the current directors saw us lose yesterday because we lost the battle in the middle. Something has to be done quickly but we are only a couple of new players short along with getting Ferguson fit. Three extra (tough) forwards yesterday would have made a big difference.'"
Actually we have three overseas spots available. One full one and two non fed trained (kolpak) ones. Non fed trained quota was increased from 5 to 7 this year.

| All this is totally unbelievable! Have you all learnt nothing? Bradford is skint. No money! More players cannot be afforded! Let's stop going bust!

The problem with Fielden and Mason is no 3 month pre season (and SF may have a permanent injury?). If the Bulls can afford to wait approx. 6+ weeks for match fitness then these guys may be an option.
Why not look at guys no getting into a 'top 6' side who need game time for a loan. Giants have 3 good guys in Mullally, Nathan Mason and Johnson and there are at least a couple of very good guys at Saints. Well coached / match fit and probably low cost.

| To be fair, I'd have a word about Mullally. He seems to be out of favour. I'd still want someone experienced too though, and I don't feel we'd have the luxury of getting both!

Sorry my error. I thought you needed props fit enough and good enough to play approximately 2 x 20 mins per game. I did not appreciate that 'experience' was the main requirement. Good luck.

Paul clough - not favoured by brown, and behind the seemingly endless supply of young props we blooded last year he's not gonna get much game time at saints. Still played 100ish games and more than capable

| Would be more than happy to see Clough come in. Although I doubt Saints would be willing to release or lend us him as I imagine that he will be needed at some point during the season for them.

Apparently we told him half way through last season if he found another team we wouldn't stop him leaving (the lad was gutted) - and rumours are abound this week as he's the obvious exception to those who were out on dual reg - so read into that as you will.
As I say, where somewhat blessed in the prop/ second row department so wouldn't surprise me if clough left, and you guys seem in need!

Good call. Tipped by Cunningham a few years ago as a future international.
