| When you are at the bottom of the hole, the only way forward from there is up...?
(Provided of course you don't go down with a bad case of dead before you get the chance...)
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars...?
(...or maybe that was "seeing stars..."?) (sorry Oscar)
We could instead be pathetic little twerps of Rhino trolls...?

| The only positives i seen in the game was the effort from Jeffries !!!
For me whitehead was too greedy - raynor could of easily had a brace if not a hat trick !!!

I say again, he's not a centre for me. His positioning at times was all over the shop. Don't think it's a coincidence that Welham got a hat trick playing opposite him.
Whitehead can be a quality player, but anyone playing in the centres who doesn't normally play there will struggle with the positioning side of it.

Disallowing two tries that on each occasion Hull KR went the other end of the pitch to score from with a POTENTIAL situation where we were 34-24. Completely missing Kopczak grounding the ball - I know Lynch scored next play but the fact is they missed us scoring a try. But from talking to Rovers fans after the game, they were pretty annoyed with Mr Silverwood too

I dont think he is a centre for anyone
Just a shame we have so many injuries at the mo, just hope when they are all fit and ready we can push on and at least make an effort for the 8 !!!

I agree that the positioning side of playing the centres must take a lot of getting used to. It makes it all the more puzzling that Crookes was put in the 19, and then not used. He actually played for Sheffield on Sunday, so the decision was obviously taken in enough time for him to get to Sheffield and play in their match.
I accept Crookes isn't a world-beater, but he IS a centre. So why did we put a bloke in there who had played there for half a match against a Championship team in his life?

| Crookes should of been in the 17 for me and whitehead pushed back in to second row,
What i dont understand is what MP see's in Sibbit, he has had one good game all season and the was against Halifax, to me that shows his level of rugby..............
............. Also not sure if anybody will agree but Lynch needs to have the captaincy removed, me personally i would give it to either L'Estrange or Diskin ??

To be honest, I'd say in the last 3 games, Sibbit has been one of our better players. Gash before that, but he's done alright lately.

The only thing ive really notcied in the last few games is that his penalty count has decreased lol.............
But being fair to sibbit its not like he is the only player who looks out of his depth

tbh I agreed with you about giving crookes a shot after watching the U20 highlights where he looked good. However after watching him in sheffield game he didnt stand out at all. he should have shone at championship level and instead was totally anonymous. Really dont think he'd have been an improvement on whitehead, who also didnt impress in .

Well, if that's the case we might as well cut him loose at the end of the season.
He's been around for a few years - I recall he had a dual reg spell with Widnes a couple of years back. He's 21 (I think) now, so if he's not knocking the first team door down, he probably ain't going to.....

tbh I'll be surprised if crookes gets another deal. he's been knocking around fringe of first team for a few years now, and whilst admittedly very unlucky injury wise last couple of years, just doesnt seem able to kick on and make the step up.

That might have been due to every one of our passes, apparently, being [sizeFORWARRRD[/size

Probably our most improved player.....damned by faint praise I admit, but praise nevertheless.

45465_1384791340.jpg And last but not least, to all those people who wrote this team off.
To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you.

For me personally, either of the two above is preferable
