Like ignoring the quite blatant knock-on from Jackson after the charge down for your first try? Where Jackson knocks it forward, then heads it, then his teammate catches it about 10 yards in front of where it started? (Watching the replay, the commentators also completely missed it)
I didn't have a particular issue with the ref last night as he made questionable decisions both ways and I don't think it affected the result. What I will say though is that Huddersfield wants to be careful with their discipline. Give those penalties away against a team that capitalises on it, and you'll get hammered. In particular, the messing around and holding down at the PTB was terrible from the Giants last night (thankfully the referee did penalise it, even if he waited a bit long to have a word about it). Gilmour stood out as particularly bad with the discipline, not something I particularly remember about his game in the past. |

I meant Raleigh. I was going by number 15 for Huddersfield, which Jackson used to be didn't he? The point remains though, it was a clear knock-on.
Out of interest Ponner, what did you think of Huddersfield's discipline last night?

After watching it again on SKY i'd say it was no worse that Bradfords. I have no quarms with the penalties Ganson pulled us for but letting the Bulls get away with exactly the same and worse was a little odd.  |
