| Silverwood obviously had a bet on a 24 point spread like me. Ali's try took Leeds just beyond the 24 point mark so I was well chuffed!
Still a disgraceful decision, mind.

| It was a shame they ran in so many points in the last 15, I thought it was a little unfair on Crusaders.
TBF though, I always had the feeling Leeds were going to have too much towards the end.
However: Good crowd, competitive game, good start to the season IMO

| You lot are hilarious. One sided refereeing? Did you see the penalty count? Crusaders' hilarious attempts to stop Leeds playing the ball quickly were straight out of Brian Nobles coaching manual. Once they tired, they got hammered. Simples.

| Eddie's comment about Gareth Raynor not having having a get out jail card was a tad unfortunate.

| Thaler was a joke last night..sinfield holding on when told to move..mcguire turtling and pushing back down, ball played off of the mark.
You could tell thaler wasnt fit with the way he was running, leeds knew this and held down as long as possible for him to get his breath back, when a ref gets tired during matches they make mistakes just like a player..unfortunatley tho it can have a big effect on the game like last night.
Give mcguire his due tho he had a good game, thought crusaders swamped burrow and sinfield but in doing so they allowed mcguire to play and buderus.
Witt was obvioulsy the go to man for crusaders take main danger man out and uve won the game unfortunately Leeds have alot of game breakers and you cant shut them all down.
What was Eastwood on last night..possibly worst player on the pitch..Bailey and JJB were there usual cheap shot merchant selves...but on whole Leeds took their chances and deservedly won.

Yes. If it had been done correctly, Crusaders could have been in triple figures.

Methinks you've got the teams mixed up. Crusaders were in red, Leeds were in yellow. HTH.

Not at all. Your lot - remember, from the board which first gave the English Language the word "Fekkwit" in reference to too many of its OWN members - have been far far worse in the past when roles were reversed. Indeed, far worse as recently as last season. You can't expect to give without being prepared to take.
When you are at the top, you are there to be shot at and are the prime target for everyone else - live with it. We had to.

You may find the thread amusing but not sure most of us are bitter towards Leeds. I disliked you lot when when we were good and winning things
TBH I think you will find the majority on here looking forward to the Leeds games as they look like they will be competitive. This might not be our year but the green chutes (?) look promising

| I couldn't give a monkeys where any of those teams are in the table. I don't care who was playing in the match last night.
Regardless of who it was, the referee had a nightmare and let WAY too much go. Unfortunately for Crusaders and fortunately for Leeds, the majority of the stuff that got missed was in Leeds' favour. I'm usually one of the people defending referees, but it was bloody hard to do that last night!
In no way do I think that influenced the result though to be honest, as I think it would have probably ended up something like that anyway.

i think most of you were so exited by the hope of an upset that your frustration at the result has clouded your judgement. dont tell me you look at it from an even point of view when you are watching anyone v leeds. ya kidding ya self mate.

At no point did I ever think Crusaders were going to win that game.

Consider it kidding myself if you wish, I know otherwise. In particular in games like that, where the result is pretty much decided before the game even starts due to the massive difference in the sides, I wasn't rooting for anyone or hoping for anything. I was simply just watching the game. Due to the fact I never ever believed Leeds would lose it, I could watch it impartially.
I will agree that if Leeds are playing a half decent side, I wouldn't be quite so impartial. Not for that one last night though. You may as well have been playing a Championship side.

| Worth putting a bet on the Storm to win the WCC again. The Whinos were not impressive in putting away a very underdone Crusaders, and needing the help of the ref in the way they did, must be giving Bluey nightmares of being the first? (not sure Slackjaw acheived that distinction) SL coach to lose 2 WCC's on the trot.
