If I'm reading your opinion right you think that the referee can find something to penalise in every play, so it's basically entirely down to the mood of the ref which he chooses to penalise, and also that the video ref making cleaner, better decisions could lead to the elimination of pure luck in games an so is a bad thing.

If I were you I'd start going to watch a coin toss each week as it will leave you with a couple of extra hours and not frustrate you so much.

You hear the very best pundits, sterlo and Gould talk about there Been a penalty in every play and you hear coaches talk about it too!! It's all about the refs using common sense!! If the refs ref to the letter of the law there would be a stupid amount of pens!! As the great gus Gould says that the rules are only a guide line! I think the refs do a great job in keeping our game flowing when gamesmanship is such an important part of the game especially around the ruck!!

My apologies, I'd understood your comments as suggesting that the interpretation of the ref / video ref were the pivotal features of the leeds v bradford games this season, that this element of luck is just fine and that we all just had to get over it.
This may be the case but personally I hope for more from the game, hard though I acknowledge the ref's job to be.

Always question things you hear from pundits. The older they get, the longer it is since they were in the gme, the more it has changed, the less relevant they are. Current coaches as analysts offer far more for mine.
