Our press statement was exactly the same as the rfl one. Word for word. There was also the curious appearance of Mr Rimmer at our fans forum. Add to that Andrew Chalmers' complete lack of concern surrounding the whole issue and I reckon that the rfl have covered this, both legally and financially.
Their grubby mits were all over this takeover and I suspect they had a lot more to lose than we did if it ended up going to a tribunal.
I could be completely wrong of course, but that's just the feeling I get from it all.

I second that emotion. It seemed impossible that an off the shelf company without RFL membership could be the instigator or provocateur in this, it would need action from the RFL.

Absolutely spot on Nothus. Also I see the T & A choose to totally ignore this what I think is a pretty important hurdle the Bulls have overcome |

Really, really pleased about this. I was expecting a giant spanner to be thrown into the works right before the season and all our optimism to be shattered.
We now have no clouds hanging over us, a good squad, a great coach, fantastic academy and a season with no points deductions to look forward to.
Glad I bought a season ticket and shirt and can’t wait for the season to start.
Especially looking forward to seeing who our new signing is next week.

Look North chose to ignore it though, preferring to 'major' on basketball in Sheffield. Who knew it existed and that it demonstrably has more local interest than rugby league? |
