Round 3 is the first Elimination round. This means that the player in each team who scores the least points IN R3 will be eliminated. In the event of a tie, each player's cumulative score will be counted back in. If there is still a tie then the captain decides who is for the chop, failing which we are back to the FA Duckvaark-Lewis method.

This round is for those who can't draw and can't play games. It's the poetry round.
All you have to do is write a poem. Short, long, free verse, rhyming couplets, limerick, whatever, as long as it is a type of poetry it will do.

There are a couple of rules.
1. The poem must in some way relate to rugby league
2. The poem must contain, somewhere, all of the following Entries for Round 3 will close at 6pm Saturday 8th December.

FAKKING POETRY!

How we miss the Bulls good old days
We were better than the whinos in so many ways.
Big Les had the power, and shonny the thriller,
Then the awesome foursome trampling defences like godzilla.
We had TV with his hair like little richard,
But we did get Nick Zisti who played like a pilchard!
But then theres the Burgesses all were beast like to me,
And if their Father was still here Id buy some of his sperm,
before he had a vasectomy!

Is it one entry per person?

The full back views the charging pack,
Violent gulps and shivers down the back.
Adams apple bobbing like a malformed conker,
Instict kicks in and he pulls out his plonker.
He whirls it around like a windmill of meat,
He cannot fail, he cannot be beat.

"Daddy always said I was a stupid lad"
He beats himself for being so bad.
The crowd, now awed all stand in silence.
Witnessing the breakdown's violence.
His thoughts are fog, his mind is mush,
And from the terraces still a hush.

Gently now the grey mist lifts,
the gears of mind can grind and shift.
He's self-aware and scared and small,
Absent-mindedly he pulls at his balls.
A boat lost at sea, no hand on the tiller.

He must come with us to the Yorkshire hills - one way or the other
A shadow of doubt could be seen, in old Mrs Zisti’s eye
But the deal was sealed with gifts surreal - a pint, a pilchard, a pie

So it came to pass that Nick ran out, to the roar of the Odsal crowd
His swarthy looks, his manly gait, made young girls weep out loud
The crowd held their breath as the ball went wide, the air could not have been stiller
But he didn’t do much and was bundled in touch, more God awful than Godzilla

Only seven more times did he pull on the shirt of which we are justly proud
But he had as much chance of scoring a try as I have with Girls Aloud
Then the dark side called, and a villa was found at the foot of Appendectomy Hills*
But try as he might, he was still complete sh**e, poor Zisti – the man with no skills



*The Appendectomy Hills - a well know Italian resort that provides accommodation for failed Rugby League players seeking to earn a few quick lira playing Rugby Union
