Q: Hello to the new consortium
Many thanks for giving Bulls fans a vehicle to speak directly to the board. My points below are not meant to be aired in public, but I would appreciate you digesting these thoughts from a loyal follower of the club.
Having been a season ticket holder on and off since 2002, I have spent both plenty of cash and time in supporting the club throughout the highs and the (too many) lows. I am still a season ticket holder, as I will probably be into the coming season. However, in common with a good many reasonable, mature, and loyal individuals, I am becoming somewhat unsettled by the muddied waters which now surround both the ownership and the future fortunes of the Bulls.
I am a member of RLFANS.COM, which as its name suggests, is populated by RL loving individuals - some sane and sensible, some slightly off the wall, and some downright ignorant and abusive. There are also a fair sprinkling of trolls who, unfortunately, have become synonymous with such forums. However, on the whole, the level of debate on the Bulls section tends to be relatively normal, with many views being discussed on many topics.
During the past month or so, following a similar timeline to your takeover of the club, an individual who supposedly speaks on behalf of a somewhat shady group, has been posting a large amount of both statements and questions which point towards distrust of your intentions.
This is clearly de-stabilizing many supporters who read these forum posts. I am a prime example of this, as I am seriously considering whether to renew my season ticket, given that the problems of the club may not be done and dusted.
The individual posts under a certain username and has posed many serious questions, and made strong allegations of potential mismanagement of the club. I am aware that questions are also being raised by various strands of both the media and the clubs themselves, and no doubt they are likely to be asking similar questions to the poster.
In light of these challenges, and to give some confidence to the long suffering supporters, would it not be time now to take a view of the issues being raised, and either completely refute all the nonsense or readily accept that some of the elements have some semblence of fact.
I believe that we all want to see the Bulls continue into the future, and that a successful club is important to the RL as a whole. I also believe that a total regime of honesty, openness, and sincerity is the only method of taking the remaining supporters with you into the new season and beyond.
Thank you for taking the time to read these few lines. I wish you and your fellow shareholders success in your endeavors to stabilise and grow the Bulls brand.

A: We are aware of some of the posts. Unfortunately we can't actually stop people insinuating, hinting, alleging or generally trying to de-stabilise the confidence. It is a simply truth that we can't prove a negative, nor can one disprove someone’s prejudice or conspiracy theory, we have no sensible course of action to anyone who says “we hear you but we don’t believe”.
It is not our job to pass comment about past management. We haven’t the time really. We will work tirelessly trying to recover the position of the club and will expend all our energy looking forward.
Some of the so-called journalists who are most critical and lack most objectivity haven’t even contacted the club, let alone asked for interviews with the key stakeholders. Some critics haven’t been to game in years. Some don’t even support the club and seem to enjoy causing aggravation for the club.
We won't give in or give up. We will work with all those who want to work positively with us. The others can please themselves.
Many thanks
The Bulls
