Quote: roger daly "At half time I got talking to 2 very decent Huddersfield fans and then again in Cue Gardens after( different people). So I guess some of them are ok, yes we probably knew that anyway.I hope I wasn't talking to Brearley 84 at half time or in Cue Gardens afterwards,he sounds a proper fool'"

most of us are decent, like a lot of bradford fans are.
but as with anything, you can't expect people to be right when you haven't been right with them

Your question was about the Giants beating a quality team in a knock out game. It wasn't long ago was it? Now you need to shift it to silverware - oh dear.

I'd love the Giants to win a CC or GF. Most supporters want that for their club. However when I watch a Giants game I enjoy the game in itself rather than sit there wanting a history lesson. The last few years we win more than we lose which is a pleasure. Today our performance was patchy, the result was great.

I will be in Perpignan watching the Giants next week even though the game does not result in silverware -go figure.

Quote: debaser "We were never going to win that game. Before the match I said that if we lost be less than 40 we would be doing well. But to try and compete with only one prop was impossible.
And to try and compete when we made silly errors to constantly put ourselves under unnecessary pressure just made it even more impossible. The officials were poor but academic as it was the difference between 40 points and 60 points.
I don't feel as disappointed as normal. Didn't expect anything from the game.

Looks like another injury though to George. Hopefully nothing too serious as we are almost literally down to 17 fit players.

And what was Chev put on report for?'"

Suprised you missed the Chev Walker late cheap off the ball shot on Robbo (littlest man on field) seen as you seem to have seen eveeything that went on that the ref missed!

Seemed a daft thing to do as you lot keep harping on about having no players why would someone do sommert like that meaning he gonna be banned for next match?

Meh, the usual refuge of a loudmouth ignoramus, if an individual has not been "right" with you then logically if you must, don't be right with them. WTF would your perceived slight have to do with any other person you ever speak to?

You're just inventing poor justification for what is just your choice to behave boorishly.

In the bar I had some good craic with some Hudds people, nothing unusual about that. In your world however should I have been "not right" with them on the spurious grounds that some Hudds fans had been "not right" with Bulls fans on RAB of late?

You can say what you want about us not winning a major trophy and how the hub cap doesn't count, but to us it was a major achievement as quite a lot of our fans can remember the dark days which weren't too many years ago.

We've come up from the 3rd division and stabilised ourselves as a top super league club who now challenges for honours and will soon IMO be lifting one of the 2 main cups up for grabs in the very near future. We're in a better position than Bradford are both on and off the pitch and that is remarkable considering the crowds, sponsorship and income you used to get when you were the top team in the game not too long ago.

So far this season already, from memory, it's Wogan, Hudds, Wakey, Salford, HKR & Bradford who the officials have a grudge against & the RFL are intent on relegating.

Huh? Are you aiming the comments at me? What have I said about what the ref missed?

So is that what Chev was on report for? Fair enough in that case. But not if it was for mouthing off.

And I assume you think we are making it up about having no players then? That's why we only had one prop yesterday then, as we were resting the rest of our massive forward pack. We have no players!
