Quote: Ryan Duckett "We have spoken to and shared confidential financial information with one or two interested parties and I think they are watching the pledge campaign very closely.'"

This is the most interesting bit.

If you were an investor you'd wait and see how much you can pick the club up for first before showing your hand.

A pledge total the other side of 500K means the investors pay less and shows a high level of support behind the club.

Sorry but this really is p&ss poor. That's 1,832 "people" so even less Bulls season ticket holders than that have pledged. Rubbish.

If Bradford were to go under, does anyone know what happens in regards to points for potential fixtures if they can't fulfill them? If everyone was given the 2 points then we (Leeds) would get an extra 2 compared to everyone else, but then again if the matches are just avoid we in effect would play a game less than others. Does anyone know?

Without wishing to sound rude, but why the fekk should we be in the slightest bit interested in that? If the club were to fold (and it won't provided those uncertain supporters do the right thing before it is too late) then very few of us will give a flying fekk what happens.

The problem we have is that we have had so many stories from the BOD over they years. The person I most believe is Adey and I get the impression that he has been misled at times by some of the board's excuses. Unfortunately I think it is now too late to say " but this time we are telling the truth". If the incredible supporters do not respond to your plea you will have noone to blame but yourselves. Rest assured Bradford Northern/Bulls will continue in one form or another. If you do not believe that the don't look towards Wakefield you have to look no further than Bradford Park Avenue.

OK, I guess it is hard facts time.

We told the board last night that too many people remain highly sceptical of the BOD, because of what they see as past failures to be honest with the fans. I have to say they were genuinely surprised. But we had to tell it as it is.

But its very clear to me that there is now a stark choice1 - Support the board's efforts to plug the funding gap

or

2 - The club will be in administration within days.

Its as simple as that, in my opinion.

I urge people not to listen to those (especially) from Wakey, who extol the virtues of what happened to them. Their situation was very different to ours. They had a much lower payroll cost, and far lower overheads in other areas too. The administrator could pay most of their day-to-day running costs short-term out of the Sky money. An administrator at Bradford would have no such luxury, and would need additional incomings to keep the ship intact while he tried to find a buyer for the assets.

If anyone DOES choose administration, please do it because you are genuinely convinced it is the better option on its own merits, having acquainted yourself of all the pros, cons and available facts. Not because of what some fans of other clubs say, where the circumstances were rather different to ours.

We asked the board if there was any indication of a "prepack" administration waiting in the wings. They said (and rightly) that if there was, it would either be by them or by someone who they had had to grant access to the books for. And they said there was not, and that they had no such approaches. So it would appear the chances of a speedy exit from administration are not promising.

You know my view: a prepack might work (albeit by screwing HMRC and the club's suppliers sponsors and whatever) but in a protracted administration we would rapidly lose key playing and other assets.

If you think the current BOD has been poor at engaging with the fans, do you expect Caisley - who I am convinced is waiting in the wings to pounce on the carcass - to be any better?

The choice can only be an individual one. I've made mine, because I simply dare not gamble on and am very worried about the alternative. Others who have not yet chosen to support the survival effort must do so soon. Very soon.

Or it will be too late.

They were surprised! We were surprised that they lied over the stadium deal and that we had borrowed heavily from the RFL. Too disingenuous for too long!

There are similarities with Wakefield, there supporters wouldn't hand their hard earned cash over to Ted Richardson, I fear our fans have simply decided they cannot send their cash to this BoD and their position is untenable only 1800 or so pledgers gives them a very strong message! They announce they're going and I believe we'd hit the target.

I've finally pledged. From what I can make out of our financial position (we don't appear to have huge debts, but have very little cash coming in) we wouldn't see enough of the benefits of Administration (the ability to clear the debts) to offset the obvious downside.

It doesn't look like we'll hit the target. But a healthy pledge total will demonstrate the commitment of the fans and should make the club look marginally more attractive to potential investors.

How can they announce they are going when there is no one to replace them?

It has been said a million times on here

- we know questions need answering
- there is no one at the moment to run the club other than Hood
- he has said he will hand over if someone sticks their hand up and steps forward
- unles people pledge, bail the club out & then we look to move forward it wont be a problem who runs the club

We need to pull together if you care for Bradford Bulls. In times of crisis, solve the problem and sort out the underlying issues later.

Come on, please

They announce there going and who exactly will take over, Caisley? The current board have already said they are more than willing to step aside should someone come in with funds to take the club forward.

We all need to get the message out, this isn't about supporting the board, it's about supporting out club, keeping our star players and potentially ensuring Bradford Bulls does not disappear.

I think getting 1800 people to pledge to hand over their hard-earned in this way is pretty impressive actually. Remember that you do get services in return for your season ticket purchase, so it requires less commitment in that sense. By Friday you'll presumably have about 2000 people willing to put their money where their mouths are. Pretty good going, and won't look too shabby to investors either. Few businesses can point to a customer base as committed as that.

You are Chris Caisley, or one of his camp.

Do the speccies know EVERYTHING you have done to try and "support" this club?

We have been assured by Peter Hood that he would stand down TOMORROW if someone genuine, with the funds and the interests of the club at heart was to present himself.

HE stated that categorically.

But he can't go until that person manifests himself, can he?
