I can see an argument that Kear is better than McNamara. Kear is capable of taking sides to mid-table and no better. Macca hasn't reached that yet, although he does have time on his side and it wouldn't take much improvement to overtake Kear.

Im not Nobles biggest fan on this board by a long shot (I reckon our team got slightly worse each season from 2001), but, even I have to question this, how do you "luckily" get to 5 grand finals in row? and how do you "luckily" hold all 4 available trophies at the same time??? btw...could you maybe explain why the good folk of Wakefield do not seem to be as impressed with Kear as you seem to be, given that 13% less people on average turned up to Belle Vue this year compared with last? Despite the team's best performance in recent history.

As stated, Bradford got worse every season, that is not the sign of a good coach. The side he inherited carried him for the first few years. And when he realised that a side full of power but no flair can only get you so far he jumped ship. And created a Wigan side full of power and no flair! Does anyone really think he will change these tatics at Celtic?

Kear is not mediocre. We were bottom when he took over 3 years ago. We are now 5th.

We were not champions when Noble took over. We were 1, 3 and 5 years later.
