| Well at least you got some money for him, in the end it was probably the best outcome for the Bulls. If he had to stay it would have been no good and if he went with no fee it could have caused issues for other clubs with contracts.
As for people saying he should not have a hard time. It's sport, if you are not going to be passionate about sport what's the point, may as well just watch wipeout on TV. Fans are there to give players a hard time and get involved in the game. Do we not boo when goals are kicked and wave arms about.
We used to give Gary Connelly Hell when he moved to Wigan, I din't not dislike the bloke but as far as he was concerned when he took to that Rugby pitch he was not playing 13 men, he was playing a whole town of hatred. People may say players don't care and it does not effect their performances, but it obviously does. If you can get under the skin of just one player in the opposition, it means his mind is not 100% on the task in hand when playing against you.
Many a time when opposition players used to walk or run the touchline during a game warming up, it was always a good oppertunity to stir a little and it does not have to be anything involving swearing or abuse, simply watch out for ...... Kevin Penny never even played for Saints but he got heckled for being a weak spot on kicks and he felt that pressure.

| Since it appears that we are to receive the 30 pieces of silver from Huddersfield. How would it best spent? Props, centres, wings or on the remaining "old boys", Addy etc.. I hope it's on the "old boys" with the balance on a prop. One out - one in.

However much it is I can't see it being spent on a transfer fee, if that's what you're implying. For me it's more likely to go into the pot, maybe to be used for contract payments.

Does this mean you're admitting there's still a place for a prop in the modern game. Thought you'd have wanted another centre for your cunning plan of having wings and centres running rings round opposition props

Reminds me of an old joke:
What did the inflatable teacher say to the inflatable boy who entered the inflatable school while carrying a pin?
"You've let yourself down, you've let me down but worse than that, you've let the whole school down"
Sorry, as you were.

| I find it quite sad that a player who's put his body on the line for your club over several years is being vilified for trying to do right by his family- if you want someone to blame then blame the useless RFL. If they had confirmed immediately that the bulls were definitely staying in superleague the future of the players would have been a lot more secure and he might not have felt the need to refuse his contract under TUPE.

| If that link was meant to cause upset - sorry it didn't work - I looked at the season ticket picture and wondered if huddersfield are the ugliest team in superleague. Then I at last recognised who the picture at the top was of and all I can think of is he's let himself go since his last game at Bradford! Certainly a few pounds heavier there!

It's not what he's done, it's the manner in which he's done it that has upset people.
And besides, if he'd accepted the TUPE and the Bulls were removed from SL then his contract would have been void anyway and he could have joined any club without any fuss. I doubt there was any club in SL who didn't have their eye on at least one Bulls player and held back funds to cover their salary should the opportunity arise to sign them.
