Lot of effort on display, but we lack leadership on the field. We blew 3 clear cut tries, and given we only lost by 8 points it's a bitter pill to swallow as both Fev and London were there for the taking.

Turning point was with about 12 mins to go. You'd got back in it and were working the short pass effectively.
Then, as you were working the ball out early in the tackle count the player needlessly tried an unnecessary offload right in front of us. Scrum... try...game.
Under attrocious conditions it was a tough game. Crossley was immense.

A game of what ifs.
What if Oaks hadnt thrown a shocker to MDJ
What if Pickers and Johnson had called on that high kick
What if Pickers had caught that ball when he was through the line and away.

Obviously, when we go to adverts on the Pulse, you'll probably hear me talking to the producer so don't panic.

There probably was an element of coulda, shoulda woulda about the day but ultimately I thought our young side acquitted themselves pretty well.

For sure mistakes were made, but experienced pros sometimes do that too and Fev are a good side in this division, let's not forget that. One thing we were definitely unlucky with was the wind/toss - we fought well against a strong wind for virtually an entire half and then, when it was our turn to have the advantage, it dropped. we were definitely under the cosh and Fev kicked us to death in that early period, whilst we were unable to gain any ground at all from the final kicks.

We've lost our first two games by an average of six points against what are definitely two of the best sides in the division so, yeah we're maybe down but definitely not out. Given their ages and the fact that so many are new to the club/first team these two games bode well for the future imo.

The only what if for me is what if the showponies of the Green era had half the heart and fight of these lads, we'd have been back in SL.

They just will not be bullied or take a backwards step....

As for Hallas, he's becoming niggler-in-chief. Where we used to fall for it now it's us doing it...

Taking on a decent Fev team, in those conditions, with everyone of them putting their hands up is enough reason to support and be proud of them at the minute.

) but i couldnt put you out just for one person. Annoying yes sometimes and frustrating but ive made do and on the whole i can get a steady stream when all things work. A very nice gesture Mick but the masses come first

It's probably just pressing a button! I assume Mick means it will be exactly the same commentary - but as well as broadcasting it on The Pulse, it is simultaneously being broadcast on the Mixlr app. So I don't think there's going to be a lot of extra work - as I say, just pressing a button to send it to Mixlr

I feel there needs to be some haggling going on here. Chinabull gets his bespoke commentary service, and in return he sets up a Rugby League Team in his town. Seems fair.
