| I'm glad that my place of residence in the gloriously freezing hills of Lancashire basically makes me a walk up supporter so I needn't sweat over this decision

| Quote Ferocious Aardvark="Ferocious Aardvark"I get both sides of this, eventually I came down (just) on the side of "If you want to be the same level as the average C1 sides then pay the same level of ticket prices as the average C1 sides".
But commentators could have a field day with the old cutting of cloth metaphors. There is no doubt if we are going to run as planned, then the ends of our standard cloth won't meet. Like last year, IMHO the presumption must be some more must be coming in from somewhere. And we have been told in no uncertain terms we are "not looking for investors" (!)
Puzzled? I am. But however they fix the cashflow, they only have one chance to get out of this division (again IMHO) sosomebody has to do whatever it takes to make that happen. I've bitten the bullet, surprising even myself a bit. But I can tell you right now that I wouldn't be shelling out £300 for C1 next year. Not under any circumstances barring something like the appointment of Wayne Bennett, and the signings of Billy Slater and Cameron Smith.'"
In wholehearted agreement, I bought for the same reason but they won't see £549 in 2019 for C1.

Same. I'll be buying a ST. I think we get one shot at getting out of this division. I've invested too much over the years to walk away, so i'll throw some money in to try and help us get out. If we get out, I do think we can rebuild. If we don't manage it, we'll be stuck down here for a long time. I won't be buying a ST next year for C1 either.
We do have a good chance of going up though (which has also persuaded me to invest in the club) with two teams getting promoted. Either by finishing top, or via the play-offs. If it was the same hideous, middle 8 farce as what handicapped us in 2015, i would have been out.

| Someone on the FB group saying that they'd been at the club this morning and been told we'd gone through the 1000 ST barrier. I'm guessing the December payday has resulted in a modest surge
A long way from the 3000 that AC wanted, but maybe there'll be a Christmas rush...

| The scary thing is I think people are getting and Early Bird ST or are more likely not going to bother going to matches.

| I'd expect there to be a few announcements in the run up to the deadline.
Source at the club said they had new signings to announce but were holding back their announcement. Same person also told me the delay with the shirts is due to the manufacturers and not any delay on shirt sponsorship (i.e. not worked to deadline).
Don't know how true this is but they have always been accurate when I've spoke with them in the past.

| As far as walk up prices go, I've just done a few quick calculations.
At least year's prices, £15 standing for 13 games (which is what the season ticket covers) is £195 total. The season ticket for standing after the early bird is £199. That means either they're going to ask people to pay £4 MORE for a season ticket than just walking up every game, or the matchday price is going up too.
The seating season ticket price would save you a total of £11 from just walking up to every game. So it would at least be a saving, but only if you go to every single game. Miss one, and you've paid more.
I think I can see why they haven't announced matchday prices yet. They must be going up.

We do seem to be getting 'info' from people who have seen various players up at Tong - and reporting who has, and hasn't, been seen - so, if your info is correct, this suggests that the so-far unannounced players haven't actually turned up for training yet? Which, in turn, logically suggests, to me anyway, that they are not just unannounced but that they still may not yet be fully signed.
AC did say at the forum that there were about a dozen 'left to announce' but it's beginning to look as though he may have been a little economical with the actualité.

It's almost as thought AC had been told by the RFL that there wouldn't be more than a 10% drop in ST after we dropped a division.

| Anybody else had a call asking why they hadn`t renewed their season ticket?
I had a call today and said because they are charging more for less games of lower quality rugby played by mostly part time players.
I said there was no way I was paying £199 for a season ticket - I always buy mine a few days before the first game but may now not buy one at all as I miss 2 or 3 games each season with work / holidays so may just pay on the gate.
I appreciate they need the money but this is no way to treat loyal long term fans.

| I have not had a call but i would suggest that calling people is normal practice is any business why people aren't renewing a membership/subscription.
I wont be buying a season ticket for next season, due to missing too many games with going on holiday, stag do's etc. I will be paying on the gate for as many games i can though.
