We could really do without another period like we had last Christmas. Periods of elation immediately followed by bad news, a complete emotional rollercoaster, constantly checking forums, Twitter and Facebook for updates.

Yesterdays forum and fairly positive feeling followed by the Koukash Article and then the Bulls quick fire response better not be setting the tone for the whole off season. I suppose with the court case looming in January as well it would be naive to think we might have a period of normality where we could focus on the rugby.

Difficult to answer without knowing who is making the offer and how sensible that offer is and their motives for doing so.

Nail firmly on the head. If they are turning away they genuinely do have confidence in following through. Or on the flip side they have been given assurances about the end game e.g. Licensing

I went to the meeting last night (overweight grey haired, bespectacled soul standing at the back of the room), and (IMHO) I heard a very professional delivery from an owner of a business who was desperate to offer a share of his business to the greater market place.
The forum was a great selling job, not only to most of the assembled faithful, but also to prospective partners.
We assume that there's no spare cash available to the current owners, so what better than a sales pitch to attract would-be investors ( god help them).
Hope its not an overweight, bespectacled, balding bloke with loads of "experience in the world of rugby league!

So either ac offered to sell, or someone offered to invest, maybe a month ago, maybe a week ago. Someone is lying or not telling the whole truth, and someone is looking to maximize mischief/embarrassment.

Not sure what to make of it really, I'll wait and see if koucash tweets in response, surely he won't be able to resist.

If someone approached ac and he said no then I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned last night. If ac approached koucash and was knocked back, I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned last night....either way, I'm not surprised it wasn't mentioned.

Hence the phrase, more questions than answers! Someone is fibbing, maybe more than one person. Either way, I'm not filled with confidence.

It can't both be true that Chalmers offered half the club to Koukash, and that he isn't looking for partners.

Either the story is made up, or Chalmers is not being honest

I believe he did mention that he was looking for business partners, just didn't elaborate on the form that would take. I personally assumed sponsors but who knows

None of this smells right, and I think it might just be a way of on-boarding Koukash formally - lots of people think their money has been involved in some capacity all along, and it wouldn't surprise me if this was a way of starting a more public process that makes it official over the off-season!

AC offers to sell 50% and they say no thanks, they offer to buy the club AC says no thanks, and in about four weeks amicable negotiations see them come on board buying out Lowie's share - hey presto, the whole thing plays out just as planned...
