Without doubt the toughest fixture of the year so might as well get it done with first up and maybe even catch them cold. Will certainly show where we are - or aren't - after Rohan gets a full pre season

Think the Easter fixture will be crucial. Probably the toughest we could have had. Nice trip to Toulouse for the May day bank holiday weekend!

Tough opening game. They'll be a bit of momentum with Hull KR, similar to what we had when we were relegated. New season, New teams etc..hope we can burst their bubble like Leigh did to us.

Interesting to see Super League are having two "double header" bank holiday weekends this year. Considering the amount of abuse the Easter fixtures get from within the game, it's surprising to say the least.

Seems to happen most years. Farce.

A farce? Why does it make a difference?

The only fixture that affects anything is the Bash/Magic one, because it's an "extra". Every other fixture doesn't really matter when it is, you have to play them at some point anyway.

May be a small argument for when travelling to France/Canada, but other than that, it makes very little difference.

Think it's really more a matter of finance - home games equate to income and away ones to expense, so a more even income stream is better than the opposite.

This my point. Surely we someone can organise the fixtures so we don't have one home game in 2 months.

at least that fixture we can be assured of bumper crowd with the hordes of travelling London fans

But it evens out. No home games in a long stretch means a lot of home games in a different stretch. I appreciate clubs living hand to mouth may struggle a little, but after Round 23, you've had the same amount of home and away games regardless of when they were played, and the same income over the period. I don't really see an issue.

Cash Flow - simple as that.
