Gale fitted in very well to our team. It wasn't his fault that most of the time his training consisted of having to do backward shuttle runs, being repeatedly hit by two punchbags while taking a pass, and kicking while being knocked into a backward somersault.
NO scrum half can shine behind a constantly mullered pack that is giving away ground all day long. I am not saying Gale is the world's best, but he always had class, maybe not absolutely top class, but he was always more than good enough for us. We let him down, not the other way round.
I don't see any changes to Gale's game. His style is instantly recognizable from when he was with us. He just gets the ball in some space much more, and going forward.
