Apparently come from Evans himself. But not from the club. Hope it's true, got the making of a good player imo. Would have liked to seen a 2 year deal for him.

Thought all the young lads looked good, really pleased with yesterday's game for many reasons, Addy, Naughton, Kear all played really well.

Lots of potential on display for both clubs. It was a good way to end the season for us given we missed out on the play offs.

I've always thought Naughton had something special, he stood out in the U18s and with a bit more strength will stand out in the 1st team. I like the look of Mellor and Conroy too.

It was a great exhibition for the young guns of RL on both sides. Plenty of debuts and young lads given the chance to get some experience! On the evidence there could be a few of them on both the Bulls and Giants sides pushing for contention in a few seasons.

On a side note I thought it was interesting that the Giants fielded such a changed side, if I was an away supporter paying £20 and travelling to the game I would have been a little disappointed that the Giants had pretty much written off the game but I am glad we took it serious and put them to the sword.

Obviously they took it as an opportunity to rest a few for the playoff push and I honest say good luck to them, I am going to the GF and I honestly hope the Giants make it since it would be a breath of fresh air

Let's not forget about Oliver Roberts too, arguably our best prospect from the academy.

I actually thought that Kear played well in the full-back role when we were attacking, when Naughton shifted to the wing.
