Caisley for thinking he can p155 higher than Hetherington, Hodd for not being ruthless enough with, Macnamara, Ken Morrison for objecting to Tesco development at Odsal and thereby Superdome, Orford for being, the rest of the board for sitting back through the whole mess and Duncan Preston for Surgical Spirit

If only Messrs Hood and Caisley had shared your view.

I mainly blame the one who decided at the start of the season it was reasonable for a Rugby League club to lose well over £1m in a season

All of them for being so effing pathetic that they could not sit down in a room together and sort this mess out. As I have stated before, the ten year olds in my class demonstrate more maturity.

How much did you pay for your season ticket??

plus...lets say, around 4000 people buy season tickets @ say £200 each that equates to £800000....now if 10000 people buy a season ticket for £85 each that equates to £850000

Whatever way you look at it being £50000 up and having an extra 6000 supporters buying drinks, burgers etc, then IMO thats just good business...

Keep the pledge!

The trouble is that the ones that have bought the cheap tickets aren't that bothered if they miss a few games. So you do not actally get 10000 turning up buying drinks & burgers.

And if you're charging £85 for a season ticket then the casual supporter resents paying £20 for a single match ticket. So the cash takings on matchday disappear.

And once you introduce cheap season tickets its very difficult to increase prices to a "normal" level.

The cheap tickets mean that there just isnt a route back to the days when we had 13,000 paying realistic prices, sufficient to finance a strong squad.

On top of the 4,000 full price season ticket holders you also have (based on our attendance figures in 2010) another 4,000 per paying on a game by game basis. With cheap season tickets you have far fewer people paying on the gate as many of those 4,000 have now become season ticket holders.

Both to blame, not just for the way they ran the club, but also for the way they have both acted!

I voted Caisley but only just. He left a real mess to sort out, but to me Hood's only plan was cost cutting and lack of decisive action with such as MacNamara, who it must be remembered signed some decent players (Newton, Solomona) but failed to get the best out of them, also signed some average player and didn't get average performsnce out of them (Platt, Sykes etc.).
BUT fully agree that if they genuinely care about the club they would have worked together to improve the situation, instead of lobbing hand grenades at each other which I fear will lead to a bad situation - how bad - who knows

I feel really sorry for the vast majority of Bradford fans. Thankfully the vast majority aren't morons.

Its both and others. Its not one decision, its a list of bad calls, bad timing, bad staff/player management/retention, bad financial management.

But, at the moment I could care less, neither is currently in charge and the administrator will file a report on directors descions to government (BTW, does anyone know if that report will be publically available?). Whats important now is who steps up in the next 9 days, if anyone.

The BoD, they always had the opportunity to inspect the clubs financial statements at any time, question pitch side appointment’s, and change things, however, in house squabbling and not talking each other has led to heads in the sand syndrome!!
