| As a Fax fan I believe there is absolutely no way that we will replace you in Superleague, nor do I think we are ready to do so. I firmly believe that now you are in Administration there will be a Wakefieldesque situation, where the financial backers will buy the club, form a new company name and continue to trade, with the backing of the RFL.

The reality is that they are going to struggle to get someone to come in and buy the club because they will have to cover some of the old debt.
Dont want Fax in SL its crap.

i agree, however it is squeeky bum time.
as 10 days is only 10 days. I am not a financial expert, so could someone enighten me on the chance of this period been extended?
Fax are not ready for SL, and any true Fax fan would agree.
I dont want to see the Bulls go bust, as all i long for is a day (once again) where we can have our derby back and challenge you at the top level.
Fax vs Buffalos GF 2020?!

| Quote FearTheVee="FearTheVee"Crusaders and Wakey cobbled together some investment to go forward as a full time professional club, will the Bulls be able to do the same?
If the Bulls go into Liquidation without a sale of its business, it's not comparable to the Cru/Wakey situation unfortunately.'"
Unfortunately it is not the same as Waly etc. The operational rules now clearly state that if you owe the HMRC, the club could be charged with Misconduct. If I recall correctly (someone can probaly put me right on this), Cru or Wakey did not have large unpaid tax liabilities that weren't settled.
A sad day for our sport when a high profile team is cast into no-mans land, pending either a very expensive rescue or closure.

We (Wakey) certainly had large unpaid tax liabilities - we faced at least 2 winding up petitions from HMRC, the first of which was paid, as there was an announcement on the club website to that effect. Andrew Glover paid money back to some creditors as a goodwill gesture after he took over the club, including honouring the season tickets purchased by fans prior to administration. Whether he paid back monies owed to HMRC I don't know. It seems unlikely, otherwise why go through administration? It cost us our best players for ten bob.
FWIW, I think you'll come out of this OK. Don't expect too many grand finals over the next few years, but I'm sure you'll still have a team to support. No love for Bradford the club on my part, but a lot of respect for Bradford/rugby league fans. Good luck!

| i think theres zero chance of bradford been thrown out of SL for starters the RFL own the ground so it would be like shooting themselves in the foot and SL needs bradford to be honest

| Cant agree with that Frankie. Look at Rangers. The other clubs dont seem to want them back into the Premier Division do they? FA suggested that the Bulls voluntarily go into the Championship for a year/two which I think was a good lateral thinkers point of view. The key thing is to have a team to support no matter where the club plays.

That was always our bottom line as fans. Just give us a team to support.

| At the end of the day Bradford has a reasonable fan base. Whilst we do not travel in the numbers we once did other clubs look on it as a good pay day. The whole situation is about money and appearance. Look how long SL put up with Hudds just because they had a pretty stadium.
