we were stood behind sticks and it was a 50/50 call. wouldnt have hurt childs to consult the in goal official who had a better view but wouldnt have been surprised if he disallowed it too.

We need to see a replay of it. Maybe the Super League show will replay the incident tonight?

Hard to say from where I was sitting. The ball bounced up, but it always does when it's slammed down. The ref was nearer than me so I guess he saw it more clearly. The match might have been more interesting if he'd given that one rather than Kear's try at the end which looked well forward to me, course, he was nearer to that one than me as well....

would be more interested in seeing a replay of the scrums awarded to catalans in 2nd half. First one a catalans player attempted an interception and knocked ball into touch but catalans were awarded scrum. then they got a second scrum a few ptbs later which again looked like it should have been our head and feed.

One official said it was a try..another offical said he wasnt sure..the main official had a clear view and said no try..his call.

That baffled me at first, but he actually gave a forward pass from Walker. Which doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
On another occasion in the second half Sammut actually made some space down the left for Walker, who then threw a pass out to Crookes with such ferocity that he almost dropped it, and lost all momentum as a result.
Compare that with the space Purtell found himself on the other side of the pitch, and he was able to draw his man and send Kear in for a relatively simple score.

That explains it then. Missed the touch judge getting involved. Mind it was down far end of pitch. Could have used binoculars to make out what was going on
