Ok going to have a bot of a rant now. Lynch hasn't been in the form he was a season or two ago. BUT i'm sick of the criticism he is receiving while Kopczak and Burgess and getting bigged up. Lynch does twice the amount of work Burgess & kopczak do put together. Koczak has improved and looks stronger going forward, however his defence is questionable.

Burgess defintely has potential, but he had one good game against a poor Salford outfit and suddenly he's our best prop.

Take Lynch out and Kopczak and Burgess will be blowing on oxygen after 20 minutes, neither do nowhere near the work Lynch does. not having a pop at them, but can't understand where people are getting the idea these two are performing better than Lynch, their not. It's just Kopczak has been gash until this season, makes a couple of breaks and suddenly he's a world beater, Burgess is the younger brother of a superstar we once had, makes a couple of breaks and suddenly he's our new superstar.

Not having a pop at people on this thread, but it just a few comments on numerous threads that Kopczak & Burgess are better than Lynch.

I keep waiting for you to finish your sentence...

Totally and whole heartedly agree with the above post! How can anyone criticise andy lynch is beyond me. He is the biggest professional going so dedicated and he carried bulls through the bad times. His talent is there for all to see, none of the bulls props can even be compared to lynch in the same sentence as he is head and shoulders above them. His work rate, game time, offloads the whole works he is always driving to the try line. He has been getting slated on the t&a with one person Saying he wouldn't bust a brown paper bag. Well that just bemused me as they clearly know nothing a about rugby league and havnt been watching bulls games where andy is a class apart from most members of the team. Rant over!

Not sure what brought about this idea of comparing the props.

They are all different and mostly all at different stages of their careers, some have lots of experience and some are full of promise and they all have their own attributes which complement each other.

For sure, it would be nice if we had a real bone shaker (though it does look as though that position might be filled from within, in the near future) and if we're honest none is (right now) really showing international class BUT as a group within the squad, I'm reasonably happy with what we've got, however the coach divvies up the game time.

Your post is somewhat negated by the fact that Burgess didn't even play at Catalans - so his only 'tragic' bit was not being on the field.

The reality is that if someone has said to Burgess at the beginning of this season that he'd make 10 first team appearances this season he'd have been delighted. Yet, assuming he plays against Quins, he reach this mark on Saturday

Does he get let out early for good behaviour?

I stand corrected. Yes he didn't play against catalans but he was poor in most other games bar the Salford one. I'm sick of people bigging him up, he has filled a gap and helped bulls out when we had injuries but isn't superleague standard yet. For all those saying he is better than Hargreaves, lynch, scruton and koppy.....I think they need to wake up and smell the coffee!!

I don't recall any poster saying that he is currently better than any prop at the Bulls.
