| I reckon we should go for Chris Riley from Warrington for next season, he's on a months loan at the Quins, but might not be in Tony Smith's plans next season. They already have Monaghan, King, Williams and Evans in front of him at the moment. I'd also take a punt on Ali Lauitiiti, he's not been in the best of form recently but a change of club might see him play some better rugby, he's rumoured to be going to Widnes though. He could be the impact forward we need off the bench and am sure he wouldnt cost the earth.

| Like the shout but fear his knees have seen better days. Plus can we afford another ex leeds player?
Is david williams still out of contract at manly, was playing a lot of past 18months in their reserve grade after injury, may fancy a change and he is good.

| Lauitiiti's past it IMO and while he was a good impact player once he isn't anymore. A luxury player anyway not a pack leader in the mould of Morrison which we could do with.

| I could imagine a scenario where a longstanding Rhino, out of contract and with a busted knee, signs on a 1 year contract to us.

| Webster's re-signed with HKR. Blythe would make a promising squad player but it's quality we're short of not squad players.
I'd take Riley over Halley if Riley were a free agent at the end of the season.

Totally correct but don't suggest signing good players for God's sake.

| i disagree about blythe. he is young and has all the attributes to be a very good centre. we are weak in positions and cannot attract superstars, yet when one of the brightest prospects in that position is potentially available, he is only a squad player? we have to look at ways around our inability to attract established top drawer players

| Leon Pryce, Chris Riley, Matty Blythe, Trent Waterhouse and a quality centre will do nicely.

Why wouldn't Wire be wanting to keep Matty Blythe? The times I've seen him on Sky he looks a really good and promising prospect

It's not just their decision though, is it? Wire are a very strong team and maybe, and I actually have no idea, but just maybe, Blythe might want a better chance of regular first team action?
The Bulls were certainly in that predicament when we were higher up the league and I recall a few times promising young players being 'let go' because the were unable to make that big step to being established first team players. Giving extra money to keep them happy might work with some players but it won't work in every case, if the kid is really determined to make his mark.
