Yep poor discipline in the second half gave Whinos the impetus to come back, and with Balsawood as VR they were going to get reasonable doubts even if they were'nt!
But there were enough plusses to give one optimism for the season! providing discilpline is tightened up!

there was nothing conculsive to say that chev knocked the ball on, he looked at it about 20 times and still couldnt say for definate so should have been benefit of doubt.

At the end of the day we took our foot off the gas thinking w ehad won it, leeds got a roll on and they did us..leeds were missing plenty of players and we should ahve had them but with jones bishop in instead of smith it actually made them better as dont think smith would have scored them.

Exactly. If a video ref views the same footage and angle SO many times there is obviously some doubt! The benefit of doubt ruling is used inconsistently far too often for my liking.

There needs to be a time limit on VR decisions, say 90 seconds. Looking at something for three minutes using the same couple of angles over and over again proves that the VR couldn't decide what he was seeing.

The ball **possibly** brushed his elbow (the many, many replays were inconclusive) after he kicked the ball against the defender from a foot away. He was looking in the opposite direction. No way in hell did he make a play for it - any marginal contact was utterly minimal and irrelevant to the trajectory of the ball

Frankly, it was a terrible decision - entirely typical of Silverwood.

Or you could take a complete different look at it and say..chev kicked ball..ball hit leeds player..leeds player had no control of ball..walker went to tackle leeds player without the ball...penalty to leeds.
