Don't disagree. Experience and technique count for a lot though

I will refrain from the blindingly obvious comedic angle.

If memory serves, Brian Mac didn't throw [ithat[/i many punches as a Bulls' player, but probably put more people on their backside than anyone. It usually only took the one.

It won't be much of a contest.
Forget the punching power, Macca will know all about how to use the square circle pace himself. Scully will do well to last 3 rounds.

Quite agreee. A boxer will virtually always beat a banger; range and timing count far more than just swinging leather.

| According to Ewan Dowes on Twitter, McDermott won and "Dusted him up apparently".
Paul Wood has also mentioned Brian Mac won on points.

| No great surprise, he once decked half of the Leeds side so one man was never going to trouble Big Mac!

So would that be 6 players or almost 7 players he decked. You might want to watch it again Bully.
Can`t even remember one Leeds player getting knocked out in that match.
Even the heavyweight Damien Gibson stayed on his feet. Powder puff punches I would say. Still I wouldn`t start on him though.

I was a little disappointed it took so long to be honest.

Have another look at that video (1997 CC semi). Amusing if only because all the current Leeds coaching set-up are involved (Brian Mac & Lowes vs Barrie Mac and Gibson). Newton & Morley also involved.
