Just to pick one bit from an article which was basically positive, “I thought we were going well. What happened in the middle of the season didn’t help things, with the coach leaving
and other things going on behind the scenes. Then there were so many injuries as well and it just got on top of us".
Given that it's A) in the plural and B) mentioned in amongst such important distractions as the coach leaving and the high number of injuries, I wonder what "other things were going on"?
