Toughest decision so far this season and some quality performances will by need be left out of the top 3.
The early platform was set by Whitehead, Lynch and Scruton's by their tackling and running.
I narrowly select Whitehead not for his promise to be a great player but for the fact that he was indeed a great player today. Then the game controlled by Orford,+ his kicking from hand and at goal would place him close to MOM. Kearney I think for an exemplorary performance at full back both in defence and his excellent attacking support.

Whitehead - How good a player is this guy turning into? Hopefully, its a sign of things to come.

Orford - Great all round performance and even slotted 2 kicks over from the touchline, and they say we need Paul Deacon for that!



Beaver - Another great game, especially considering he is actually 47!!

So hard to pick just three this week, but I'll go as follows,

1 Orford...Massive game on both defence and attack plus outstanding kicking
2. Platt... Is there a better centre in Super league at this moment in time?
3. Whitehead...This kid gets better and better. Lets hope the actor hasn't been watching him!

How good is it that you could make a good case for nearly the whole 17!? My three tonight (ask me tomorrow I might have a different view!) are;

1. Whitehead (took his try really well, great defense, superb effort)
2. Kearney (Great example of FB play)
3. Scruton

Not a bad performance today, but honourable mentions to Platt, Orford, Lynch, Menzies and Sheriffe.

Thought he stood up really well today.

As others have said - a difficult choice today - As a team we look very balanced and "together" the team together look far, far better than it's component's individually.

And who do you reckon that's down to? Surely not the head coach?
