I've had no complaints with the officials so far this season.

Tonight some of the decisions were head scratchers to say the least.
There was a complete lack of consistency tonight.

Take last week for example. Both teams were allowed to lie on. It both teams are doing it, then it's fine with me.
The lack of consistent decisions is the bug bear for us all,

It hit the left hand post and bounced sideways, it then landed on the ground and bounced forward. It may of even glanced the other post but it definately didn't go through.

It didn't go through. It bounced about a yard in front of the try line just to the right of the posts, and the bounce of the ball sent it into the in-goal area behind the sticks - which is why it appeared to you to go between them. But it definitely didn't

Alright, fair enough then.


Any ideas why L'Estrange's was disallowed though?

No it didn't go over.
I was in line with the sticks in the Tetley's stand. It hit the post and rebounded 5m out in to the field of play.

I was a long way away but presume he was just short.

It looked to me as if he got it over the line by a fair bit. I thought it could have been denied for double movement, but when he was on his back I can't see how that would be given.

No idea then mate, all I do know is the ref had a much better view than both of us.

I wouldn't complain too much about the L'Estrange one, it was just the Quins first try which peeved me.

The L'Estrange no try was for a knock-on over the line.

The hooter was about to go so we'll let Silverwood off with that one.

No it wasn't, I saw the ref signal it was a double movement, I was more or less in front of it in The Tetleys Stand. He was brought down quite short and picked his arm back up and scored.

Correct to disallow!

That was my first impression from the other end of the Tetley's stand
