If they'd had got d.cked on at Saints you'd have mentioned that. But they didn't so you didn't. Same logic that seen Brian Mac go from obvious replacement coach to Banquo's ghost.

Also the same side that beat Saints comfortably away and are unbeaten at home. A couple of glitches doesn't make us a weak side.

Yep, and crusaders will beat a lot of teams this season, have a look at the table, we're going to end up with five teams on 10 points at the end of the weekend, one of whom got 'tonked' 52-0 a couple of weeks ago. It's genuinely open as a competition and there will be some surprising results. By everyone's account Leeds have strengthened this year and yet they're doing no better than us. None of this means I don't want rid of Macca, i do, but we're stuck with him to the end of the year, and although our pack is good, the playmakers are promising and our defense is showing signs of improvement we lack any real strike threat in the backline. That coupled with Maccas gameplans will mean we'll undoubtedly be mid table, sneak the playoffs and likely go out after one or two rounds. I'm resigned to it, that's all, and I'm relieved this will be his last season However, if they give him a new contract you'll find me chained to the gates at Odsal.

| Hull were there for the taking tonight. We've played 6 games with Orford in the side and have rarely looked anymore creative than we did tonight, so that doesn't wash with me.
We just haven't got the spark, the execution that was promised. Defensively, we actually look decent. We just look too devoid of options to beat someone at the moment.
I bet Harlequins fancy their chances next week.

| You gave everything in the first 30 minutes without ever really causing us problems. We soaked up all the early pressure yet it seemed to be you that tired first. If Orford had played it might have been different, but you really did lack some invention.

| The game was lost in the forwards tonight and we were completely outmuscled for almost the entire match. As soon as the rain started on the way over I knew it was going to be a tough night for us. Hull kept to a simple gameplan of some strong runs from the pack followed by a good kick and chase. This meant we spent almost the entire 2nd half somewhere between our 10m line and Hulls 40m.
The only difference Orford may have made tonight was perhaps a better kicking game but you cannot expect the playmakers to create with virtually no space to work with.
I thought Sheriffe continued his good form tonight and was probably our most consistent player on the pitch. He made some great choices in defence and on several occasions closed down the Hull man when they had an overlap.
It wasn't a particularly bad performance, but it was very dull to watch for the reasons above. I hope Sculthorpe is fit soon because we look desperately small in the forwards.

| hi can i just say, that was probably the weakest performance i have seen from bradford since being at the kc. It was a shame really as i dont really care too much if my side lose, i was just hoping for a good game

| Disappointing. Got battered in the middle and our backs will just never be good enough to challenge in super league at top level ( sherrife did well ). Sykes and Kearney did as well as they could at halves. As soon as Hull scored it was over.
Dunno where to go from here...... It looks like we are really going to struggle away.
Personally i don't get why we went for 2 when we did, we just aren't a team that will score from in our half and hull were on the rack. the 2 just settled them more. Try at half time was probably the key moment of match. Knock on in build up to scrum for mine..

I genuinely believe we will see more tight games going our way on the firmer pitches when we can play a bit more Rugby.
We won't beat teams like Hull though when the match becomes a battle of the forwards. We just don't have the size to match them.

| no excitement here! we did defend well and our men down the middle were great. for me our man of the match was super richard whiting! If you could have scored just before half time as you did have a few chances maybe the result would have been different.
To be fair there wasnt a great deal between the teams until the second half when we upped tempo and kept you in your own half for most of it

| Looks like we can forget about Sculthorpe, he's apparently picked up an infection to the back injury op he's just had!
